OnArborDay,particularattentionisdrawntotheparttreesplayinourlives.Itsnotjustadaytoplanttreesandthenforgetthegestureforanothertwelvemonths.Plantingatreeonedayisnocredittousif,duringtherestoftheyear,weneglecttocareforitandthosealreadygrowing.OurthoughtonArborDayshouldbeanexpressionofenduringfeeling,thoughtandactionandnotjustonesingle,isolatedflameofinterest.

植樹節(jié)活動(dòng)方案

Inschoolsandothercommunitygroups,thisdaycanbecelebratedinmanydifferentways.

·Byplantingtreesorshrubsinschoolgrounds,alongneighbouringstreetsorincivicparks.

·Byadoptingapatchofbush,withthelandownersconsent,andcaringforitbyremovalofweeds,rubbish,etc,bypreparingfirebreaksandbyfencingandmakingpathstoreducetrampling.

·BypresentingaplayormimeabouttreesinthehistoryofAustralia.

·Bycompletingaprojectaboutcertaintypesoftrees(eg.jarrah,boab,karri)orafamoustreeliketheGloucesterTreenearPemberton.

·Asaclassactivityorcommoninterestgroupgoonavisittoabushareawithaspokespersontoexplainthecharacteristicsofplantspeciesandtheirnicheinthenaturalenvironment.

·Collectsometreeseeds,germinatetheminaclassroom,andplantouttheseedling.

·Carryoutidentificationoftreesinaspecificpartofyourschoolorneighbourhood.Atreelabellingceremonycouldalsobearranged.

·Compilealistofeverydayobjectsthataremadeofwoodorwood-basedmaterials,andfindouthowthewoodwasprocessed,whereitcamefromandwhateverelseyoucan.

Treesandshrubs,whethernativeorintroducedtoWA,provideopportunitiesfortheinterestandstudybythewholecommunity,andwhenwewalkaroundourownneighbourhoodordrivethroughthecountryside,wecanappreciatetheimportanceofsuchadiversityofplantstothewellbeingofhumanity.

全年12個(gè)月，每月都會(huì)有國(guó)家歡慶植樹節(jié)：

約旦的植樹節(jié)是1月15日；

西班牙的植樹節(jié)是2月1日；

伊拉克的植樹節(jié)是3月6日；

法國(guó)于1977年規(guī)定每年3月為法定的“植樹月”，月末那天為“植樹日”，全國(guó)綠化這一天進(jìn)入高潮；

日本于1922年規(guī)定每年4月1～7日為綠化周，4月3日（神武天皇祭日）為植樹節(jié)；4月29日是該國(guó)的綠之日，也可以被當(dāng)作該國(guó)植樹節(jié)

朝鮮的植樹節(jié)是4月6日；4月和10月為“植樹月”；

澳大利亞的植樹節(jié)是5月的第一個(gè)星期五；

委內(nèi)瑞拉1905年打算每年5月23日為植樹節(jié)；

芬蘭的植樹節(jié)是6月24日；

墨西哥1954年的法令規(guī)定，植樹節(jié)在每年6月至9月的雨季進(jìn)行；

印度的植樹節(jié)是7月的第一周；

巴基斯坦的植樹節(jié)是8月9日；

菲律賓的植樹節(jié)已有70多年歷史，他們把每年9月的第二個(gè)星期六定為植樹節(jié)；

泰國(guó)的植樹節(jié)是9月24日；（也是國(guó)慶日）
