Itiscommonlybelievedthatpaper-cuttingoriginatedintheHandynastywhenpaperhadbeeninvented.Sincethen，ithasgainedpopularityinmanypartsofChina.Oneofthereasonsforitspopularityisthatpapercuttingrequiresrathersimpletoolsconsistingofscissorsandpaper，whichareeasilyavailableforeveryfamily.

PeopleinancientChinaheldthefirmbeliefthatrainwasunderthecontrolofthedragon，sothedragondancewasperformedtoprayfortherainandhaveagoodharvest.Whenitcomestotheforms，youwillbesurprisedtoknowthattherearemorethanonehundredkindsofdragondancewhoseperformanceisincreasinglydiverseandcolorful.Theperformershavetoremembertheactionwhenplayingandpayattentiontotheconcertbetweenteammembers.
