4-weektourstudyatcambridge,ukin2004personalstatementcross-straitrelationhaslongbeenacoretopicofglobalaffairsstudiesinmainlandchina.myinterestsinthisissuestemsfromthefrequentengagementswithtaiwanesemerchants,whomadeagreatcontributiontotheprosperityofmyhometowncityofdongguan,wheniwasstillaboy.iwasdeeplyattractedbytheuniquesocialconditionsandbeautifulsceneryoftheisland.eversincehighschoolihadbeenpayingcloseattentiontotaiwan’sdevelopmentaswellasherrelationwithmainlandchina;howeverihadneverbeentotaiwanduetoobviousreasons.now,theopportunityofexchangestudyatnccuwouldnotonlysatisfymycuriositybutalsobringmeadeeperunderstandingofcross-straitissues,anexpansionofperspectiveandknowledgeaswellasaboostofmyfuturecareer.whileadramaticshiftoccurredfromconfrontationtocooperationintheyear2008,theprospectofcross-straitrelationhangsontheperceptionsofbothregions;mutualunderstandingandpossibleconsensusmustbebuilttomaintainapositiveanddevelopingrelation.althoughiamgreatlyconcernedabouttheissue,themeritofmyanalysisisseverelylimitedduetothelackofknowledgeandobservationofadifferentperspective---from‘theothersideofthestrait’.thereforeifeelastrongincentivetohavedirectcontactandrationaldiscussionswithtaiwanscholarsandstudentsinordertogainanobjectiveunderstandingofthe2.積極的學(xué)術(shù)交流由于缺少交換經(jīng)歷(我只去過一次日本),我看待問題還是不太全面的,無法從許多不同的視角上進行分析。因此,我及其渴望和臺灣的學(xué)生、學(xué)者進行關(guān)于學(xué)術(shù)的直接溝通和探討。一方面,我可以體會到我們教育上的差異,另一方面,我將會盡力學(xué)習(xí)他們的思考方式來看待各種經(jīng)濟現(xiàn)象。以下這些方法將會幫助我將自己的想法表達給我的同伴們和老師們:---在課上發(fā)言和進行演講展示---加入學(xué)術(shù)研討會---參加團隊合作3.科研其他學(xué)術(shù)項目具備研究課題的能力對于一個大學(xué)學(xué)生來說是必備的。目前,我已大致了解如何去搜索文獻資料、如何去寫一篇形式規(guī)范的論文、如何去分析大量的數(shù)據(jù)。因此,在臺灣交換時我將會繼續(xù)進行我的研究項目。首先,我將會向我的同學(xué)們請教,加入他們的科研活動。與此同時,我將會花費許多時間到圖書館閱讀大量的圖書。聽取講座也將會是一個非常好的機會,讓我找到自己感興趣的課題,還可以擴大我的眼界。之后,我計劃主要依靠自己的能力開展一些研究。當(dāng)我遇到難題的時候,我將會盡自己最大的努力處理它們。如果我的任課老師在做一些項目,如果有機會,我非常希望能夠提供一些幫助。4.多彩課外活動學(xué)術(shù)是一個非常重要的部分,然而,對于全面發(fā)展的教育來說,在常規(guī)的學(xué)術(shù)課程外還有一個多姿多彩的部分,那就是課外活動。課外活動除了給我們樂趣,讓我們與同伴們交流合作,還可以提高我們的時間管理、壓力管理能力,提高總效率。在bnu讀書時,我就非常喜歡打排球。每逢周末,我都會和幾個好朋友相約一起去球場練習(xí)。此外,參加課外活動還可以增強我們的學(xué)術(shù)和生活技巧,包括紀(jì)律、目標(biāo)設(shè)定、團隊合作、責(zé)任和義務(wù)??傊n堂外學(xué)習(xí)到的這些東西,比如在玩排球、下棋的過程中,可以幫助我應(yīng)對未來工作中的挑戰(zhàn)。5.建立深厚友誼由于一些歷史因素,臺灣與大陸之間的交流并不是很充分。我將會了解他們是如何看待我們的社會狀況,更為重要的是,我將會盡我最大的努力向他們展示一個客觀、真實的大陸社會畫面,讓他們更好地了解我們,增強我們之間的聯(lián)系。我保證,我將會嚴(yán)格要求自己,樹立良好的形象,遵守nthu的校規(guī)校紀(jì),鞏固兩校之間的合作關(guān)系,加強大陸和臺灣之間的聯(lián)系。mystudyplanihaveneverstudiedinaforeigncampus,buti’malwayshearingfrommyfriends,whohavebeenabroadforfurthereducation,sayingthatyouwillgetawidervision,youwillhavemoredifferentthoughts,youwillcommunicatewithpeopleallovertheworldmoreskillfully.ireallywanttofigureoutwhetherthesearetrueornot.besides,mymajoriseconomics.fortunately,aftersearchingalotinyourwebsites,ifoundmanyrelativesubjects.it’suniversallyconsideredthatonecountry’seconomyiscloselyassociatedwithothers.inordertohaveabetterunderstandingofglobaleconomy,includingoperationmechanism,analyzemodels,developmenttrendinthefuture,iwanttocatchthisopportunitiestoshareideaswithforeignstudents.studyingatyouruniversityisnotonlyahonorbutalsoagreatchallengeofself-betterment.thiswouldbethefirsttimeformetoscheduleaelaboratestudyplanallbymyself.iwillsparenoeffortstomakefulluseoftheresourcesandopportunitiesavailable.myplanisasfollows:1.curriculumintermsofmyabilitiesandinterestsaswellasthebasisofknowledgeacquired,iplantochoosethosecourses:---principlesofeconomics(ii)thiscoursewillteachmebasiceconomicknowledgeandcomprehendeconomiccategory,helpmeapplyeconomicthinkingtoexplaineconomicissues,equipmewithessentialbusinessandmanagementknowledgeforworkplace.---moneyandbankingthecourseprovidesafocusontheapplicationofadvancedeconomicsandfinancetheorytocommercialmoneymarketsandbanking.iwillobtainarangeofmethodologicalskillsandappropriatespecializedknowledgerelevantformoneyandbanking.---cultureandeconomycultureandeconomypaysattentiontoculture’s(art)production,currency,andconsumption.withmoreandmoreculturalproductscomingintobeing,thisfieldisworthstudying.---introductiontoeconometricsmanymathematiccourses,includingadvancedalgebra,thetheoryofprobability,mathematicalanalysis,anddifferentialequations,ihavetheconfidencetolearnthiscoursewell.---economicglobalizationeconomicglobalizationistheincreasingeconomicinterdependenceofnationalgoods,service,technology,andcapital.asanexchangestudent,learninghowtoviewtheeconomicphenomenongloballyisoneofmyaims.---behavioraldecisionmakingleastpartiallyconflictinginterestswhosedecisionsaffecteachother.gametheoryisoneofmycurrentclasses,soi’mwillingtostudymoreaboutthis.besidescompulsorycourses,iwillchoosesomesports,artsandotherinterestingonestolearn.2.activeexchangesofacademicviewsbecauseofthelackofforeignexperiences(ionlyhavebeentojapan),myanalysisisseverelylimited,whichmeansicouldn’tthinkfromdifferentperspectives.therefore,ifeelastrongincentivetohavedirectcontactanddiscussionswithtaiwanscholarsandstudentsonacademics.ononehand,iwillknowthedifferencesinoureducation.ontheotherhand,iwilltrymybesttounderstandtheirw
