societyfromtheperspectiveofspaceandtime.Spatially,althoughthenamesandformsofcelebrationoffestivalsvaryaroundtheworld,theessenceoffestivalsisoftenverysimilar,becausetheybringtogetherthemostsimpleandsincereemotionsofhumanbeingsandenshrinetheirbestwishesandsentiments.Intime,althoughwiththedevelopmentofsocietyandscienceandtechnology,thecustomsoffestivalcelebrationsareconstantlychangingorgraduallymercialized,buttheconnotationofthefestivalendures,andcanbecontinuedandinheritedinthelonghistoryofmankind.Secondly,thearticlealsoprovidestwoillustrations,onerelatedtotheMidAutumnFestival,inwhichmooncakes,lanternsandteaunderthemoonlightcreateasceneofenjoyingthemoon;theotherisrelatedtoMother’sDay,inwhichgifts,carnationsandcardscreateawarmatmosphereofgratitude.Theseproviderichperspectivesforstudentstoexploretheorigins,customs,andmeaningsofthefestival,andtheyalsoprovidemultiplewaysforstudentstogainadeeperunderstandingofthetext.
