anOfficeforNationalStatistics(ONS)survey(January2024),41%ofadultsreported

thatitwas‘veryorsomewhatdifficult’toaffordenergybillsand44%ofadultsare

nowusinglessfuelintheirhomesduetotheincreasedcostofliving3.TheConsumer

PricesIndex,includingowneroccupiers’housingcosts(CPIH),roseby3.8%inthe
