C.upABnolonger與nomore的區(qū)別1.意義的區(qū)別(1)nolonger著重表示時(shí)間或距離的“不再”延長(zhǎng),意為“如今不再”,相當(dāng)于not...anylonger。如:Heisnolongeratschool.=Heisn’tatschoolanylonger.他不再上學(xué)了。(2)nomore著重表示數(shù)量或程度的減少,表示“不再”增加,意為“再也沒(méi)有更多(大)的數(shù)量(程度)”,相當(dāng)于not...anymore。如:Icaneatnomore.=Ican’teatanymore.我不能再吃了。2.位置的區(qū)別(1)當(dāng)修飾動(dòng)詞時(shí),nolonger通常位于實(shí)意動(dòng)詞之前,be動(dòng)詞、助動(dòng)詞和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞之后,可與延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞或非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞連用。如:Hewasnolongerathief.他不再是小偷了。(2)nomore通常位于句末,且一般與非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞連用。如:Timeoropportunitylostwillreturnnomore.機(jī)不可失,時(shí)不再來(lái)。
