“一桶一次”裝置設(shè)計,加拿大

1、“一大堆水桶侵入了城市居住生活，掠奪了城市居民的公共空間”，這便是該裝置設(shè)計的最初構(gòu)想。裝置最初為2017年3月舉行的Mextrpoli城市建筑藝術(shù)節(jié)臨時展館，在此展中它為人們帶去了全新的城市探險體驗。此次該裝置由創(chuàng)作團隊重新設(shè)計，并在溫尼伯設(shè)計藝術(shù)節(jié)和加拿大文化日活動中展出，收獲了來訪者的極大關(guān)注和熱情。Initially designed as a pavilion for people explore and enjoy as part of Mextrpoli City Architecture Festival in March 2017, the installation was

2、inspired by the prevalent use of buckets to hijack public space in Mexico City. Received with great enthusiasm by visitors, these strong local origins of the bucket have been reinterpreted by the design team in a new project for the Winnipeg Design Festival and Nuit Blanche/Culture Days.裝置全貌，view of

3、 the installation在墨西哥城的城市地區(qū)，居住者兩千三百萬居民，四百五十萬每日通勤交通網(wǎng)絡(luò)，也面臨著頻繁的交通擁堵現(xiàn)象，公眾抱怨和停車設(shè)施短缺等問題。而這些，都發(fā)生在街道這一城市最主要的公共空間中。這些在城市政府監(jiān)管之外的小商戶們被稱作“viene viene”，他們通過行賄當(dāng)?shù)氐钠瑓^(qū)警察，擅自用油漆桶圈地宣誓主權(quán)，讓苦于找不到車位的司機們不得不付費停車。就這樣，這些“viene viene”們通過油漆桶，輕而易舉得掌控了一個或多個城市街區(qū)，并以此迫使停靠在此的機動車交付停車費用。In Mexico Citys metropolitan area, with a populati

4、on of more than 23 million people, 4.5 million daily commuters navigate complex road networks, frequent traffic jams, public protests and parking shortages. The streetthe prime public spaceis the setting for all such friction. There, “viene viene”entrepreneurs who function outside of government over

5、sightbribe the local police, use common painters buckets to claim a piece of the street, and charge hopeful drivers looking for a parking spot with an additional fee in exchange for access to their illegal stall. Each viene viene can control one or several city blocks with their buckets, and will th

6、reaten anyone who parks without agreeing to pay them.裝置如同席卷而來的巨大地毯，the buckets are roped together which act like a giant blanket“One Bucket at a Time”裝飾用油漆桶代表城市街區(qū)來打造這一互動式的藝術(shù)節(jié)展館。通過繩子將油漆桶連在一起形成可塑的表面，它如同地毯一般變換著姿態(tài)席卷而來，并能人為的調(diào)節(jié)其高度和卷度。來訪者可以在此踩踏、移動、跳躍、就坐、休憩或從事各種公共活動。在三天的展覽中，位于高處的油漆桶將逐漸下放至地面。通過使用油漆桶這個被用以對公共空

7、間進行占位的工具，設(shè)計師高調(diào)指出了這一社會問題，并以此鼓勵墨西哥的城市居民們勇敢宣誓自己享受城市公共空間的權(quán)利?！耙淮我煌埃幢阍谟邢薜臅r間里?！監(jiān)ne Bucket at a Time was inspired by this hijacking of public (parking) space and uses common painters buckets as the building blocks for an interactive pavilion. Connecting the buckets via a grid of ropes, the installation is

8、a malleable surface that the public is encouraged to freely explore. The surface functions like a giant carpet, and can be rolled, pulled together or up to a point or along a line taking on different forms. People can sit, run, play, stand, lounge, and participate in the act of taking over the publi

9、c realm. In situ for a three-day period, the installation will come down gradually, released from the ropes and absorbed by the city. By using bucketsa symbol of holding the public space hostagewe are highlighting and questioning this pervasive condition, and also empowering people of Mexico City to
