Preview the Reading and Vocabulary以話題為核心,開拓自主創(chuàng)新的課堂教學(xué)-外研社選修七Basketball的課例研究報告一、教學(xué)設(shè)計背景:高中英語新課標(biāo)每個模塊都有一個中心話題,所有的教學(xué)都以話題為核心,功能為重點,結(jié)構(gòu)為基礎(chǔ),最終落實在任務(wù)的完成上。Introduction是整個模塊的“第一扇門”。對整個模塊的學(xué)習(xí)有著舉足輕重的地位。在以往的教學(xué)中我們常常對introduction只是作簡單的介紹,粗略完成任務(wù)便開始下面的閱讀教學(xué),這樣introduction這部分的教學(xué)常流于形式,往往導(dǎo)致學(xué)生參與熱情不夠高,忽略了對學(xué)生潛能的挖掘與激發(fā),使學(xué)生感覺上課是被動地接受,對英語課堂教學(xué)漸漸失去興趣。經(jīng)過在實踐中的反復(fù)探索,筆者認(rèn)為,以話題為核心,以運用性任務(wù)為目標(biāo),圍繞中心話題進行教學(xué)活動,可以避免孤立的語言形式操練,把不同技能訓(xùn)練結(jié)合一體,使學(xué)生體會實際生活中有意義的語言運用。我鼓勵學(xué)生通過體育、實踐、討論、合作、探究等方式形成自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。在教學(xué)中我以學(xué)生為主體,根據(jù)學(xué)生興趣特點設(shè)計大量的語言活動,激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣和求知欲,從而激發(fā)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力、研究性學(xué)習(xí)能力以及合作學(xué)習(xí)能力。二、教材分析:本模塊以basketball為話題,介紹了籃球知識和一些中外籃球明星?;@球是世界性運動項目,也是最受歡迎、集娛樂與鍛煉身體為一身的大眾活動。作為游戲,它是一項人們喜聞樂見的全民健身遇到的手段,具有活躍身心和健身強體的功能;作為競技體育運動,其意義在于它是一項實施奧運爭光戰(zhàn)略的重要競技項目.通過強者間的對抗與拼斗,能顯示生命的活力,激勵人們樹立頑強的意志、勇敢的作風(fēng)、集體主義精神和克服困難、自強不息、奪取勝利和為國爭光的信念。對培養(yǎng)學(xué)生勇敢、機智、組織紀(jì)律性、集體主義精神和愛國主義情懷都有益處。雖然籃球是最安全的運動項目之一,但也有危險。通過本模塊的學(xué)習(xí),同學(xué)們還可以了解中外運動員賽場上不同風(fēng)格。三、教學(xué)設(shè)計的思路和意圖這是本模塊的第一節(jié)課,筆者整合了introduction和cultural corner 作為整個模塊的開篇教學(xué)。俗話說:好的開頭是成功的一半。如果能在主要內(nèi)容學(xué)習(xí)之前,讓學(xué)生對整個模塊的相關(guān)知識有所了解,并產(chǎn)生濃厚興趣的話, 將會對后面的學(xué)習(xí)起到事半功倍的作用。本模塊內(nèi)容是很多學(xué)生感興趣的籃球活動。我利用這一有利因素,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情,調(diào)動他們學(xué)習(xí)的積極性,組織豐富恰當(dāng)?shù)幕顒樱寣W(xué)生通過聽說讀寫練習(xí),學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)籃球的各種知識。更重要的是,幫助學(xué)生用英語進行交流,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用英語表達對籃球的愛好和對籃球運動員的看法等。本節(jié)課introduction接觸了有關(guān)籃球的基本知識,了解NBA的歷史發(fā)展,復(fù)習(xí)和學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)詞匯,初步討論對籃球的認(rèn)識和看法。Cultural Corner讓學(xué)生了解rugby、basketball、baseball等球類運動的起源、發(fā)展和現(xiàn)狀,討論這些運動在中國的流行狀況,進一步加強中外文化的比較。教學(xué)思路:1、通過圖片展示學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)籃球的基本知識2、討論籃球隊以及中外優(yōu)秀的籃球隊員3、通過閱讀了解NBA的歷史發(fā)展和美國足球、籃球、棒球的起源及發(fā)展4、達成任務(wù),展示成果,反饋學(xué)習(xí)情況四、課堂教學(xué)實錄:在第一堂課中,筆者在(1)班是這樣上的:Step I:Revision 復(fù)習(xí)本單元詞匯Step II:Introduction介紹:教師根據(jù)圖片的內(nèi)容問一些有關(guān)籃球的常識性問題。1、 What is the picture about?2、 How do the players divided up their teamwork during the match?3、 What does a guard usually do? What does a forward usually do? What does a centre usually do? What does a referee usually do?4、 According to the picture, can you explain what a slam dunk is?Step III: Reading 閱讀有關(guān)NBA的知識并回答下列問題:1、 Are the NBA and the BAA the same organization?2、 Are all the NBA team in the same country?3、 What is the difference between an amateur team and a professional team?Step IV:Discussion 討論1、 Which words would you use to describe basketball?2、 Whats the main difference between basketball and other sports?3、 Which NBA basketball players do you know?Step V:Reading 閱讀Cultural Corner 并回答書上問題Step VI:Homework 作業(yè)課后反思,本節(jié)課教學(xué)目的明確思路清晰,基本完成任務(wù)。但是學(xué)生自主發(fā)揮能力不夠大,學(xué)生僅僅是被動的接受知識。課堂氣氛沉悶,教學(xué)效果不佳。教學(xué)設(shè)計按部就班,沒有新意。未能體現(xiàn)以學(xué)生為主體,教師為主導(dǎo)作用的自主性教學(xué)?;谝陨锨闆r,本人總結(jié)不足之處,作了以下教學(xué)設(shè)計的改進,并在(2)班進行了嘗試:Step I:lead-in導(dǎo)入:通過姚明的圖片激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,問Do you like playing or watching basketball? A. how to play these games B. who invented the games C. how the games became popular D. how the games came into beingStep V: Summary and Home work課后反思:在第二次上課之后,我覺得本堂課總體上無論在教學(xué)設(shè)計還是教學(xué)效果來說,都優(yōu)于上一節(jié)課。成功之處有以下幾點:1、 導(dǎo)入自然新穎,能激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣,學(xué)生反應(yīng)熱烈,且能夠運用許多所學(xué)詞匯表達自己的觀點。2、 在設(shè)計籃球與其他球類區(qū)別時,通過圖片與填空結(jié)合學(xué)生活動,完成此任務(wù)效果較好。3、 Cultural Corner 設(shè)計中把簡單的問答題設(shè)計成高考題型有助于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新思維能力。4、 設(shè)計了多個學(xué)生感興趣的話題,使學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動,反應(yīng)熱烈。不足之處:1、 教學(xué)設(shè)計雖層層深入,但銜接還不夠完美。2、 在設(shè)計你所喜歡的NBA球隊時,缺乏討論NBA球隊的核心人物,尤其應(yīng)該突出討論姚明和易建聯(lián)以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的愛國主義情懷。3、 Cultural Corner部分設(shè)計時間太短,結(jié)尾欠缺熱烈氣氛。為了使這堂課更加完美,本人總結(jié)前兩次不足之處,做了以下教學(xué)設(shè)計,并在重點班進行了嘗試,取得了明顯的效果。教學(xué)設(shè)計過程:Step I:Lead-in導(dǎo)入:通過播放姚明的多媒體錄像,提起學(xué)生的興趣。問: Do you like playing or watching basketball?
