Get the students to appreciate the proverbs in Part D and put them into Chinese.Explanation除了希臘語之外，英語中還有許多來自其它語言的詞匯。通過這一環(huán)節(jié)，學(xué)生更多的了解了英語中的外來詞匯。猜詞部分對(duì)所學(xué)單詞進(jìn)行鞏固，因word power部分是作為詞匯拓展而設(shè)計(jì)的，因此要求學(xué)生能夠識(shí)別本課單詞皆可，不要求更高層次的運(yùn)用，以免增加學(xué)生負(fù)擔(dān)。 另外，諺語也是詞匯學(xué)習(xí)的一部分。讓學(xué)生欣賞希臘諺語，并幫助他們翻譯成漢語。Step 5 Discussion (PPT25)1. Ask some students to report their answers.Explanation通過前面的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生對(duì)英語吸收外來詞語、特別是希臘語言的情況有了初步了解。通過本環(huán)節(jié)關(guān)于母語吸收外來語的討論，目的是為了加深學(xué)生的體驗(yàn)，更進(jìn)一步了解語言乃至文化的互相影響，第二題的討論引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)語言變化這一現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了更深層次的討論。同時(shí)，該步驟也提高了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。Step 6 Summary and homeworkEncourage the students to summarize (if the students have any difficulty, the teacher may give some help): With the development of science and technology, globalization is becoming more and more popular, thus bringing about a lot of changes to languages.
