新世紀(jì)版五年級英語下冊unit four what makes the weather?一、教育目標(biāo):1.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛祖國的大好河山。2.了解一些天文地理知識以及太陽對人類的重要性。二、知識目標(biāo):一基礎(chǔ)目標(biāo):1.學(xué)習(xí)本單元單詞a kind of ,shine ,earth ,comfortable,heat,seem,become, raindrop 2.掌握一般現(xiàn)在時與現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時句型及功能。3.聽說和閱讀理解grand theatre中的語言材料并能復(fù)述。4.掌握元音音標(biāo)二發(fā)展目標(biāo):1.能靈活運用一般現(xiàn)在時和現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時。2.能用英語描述不同氣候的天氣情況。三、能力目標(biāo):能運用不同的時態(tài)(一般現(xiàn)在時,現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時,一般過去時,一般將來時)正確運用動詞的適當(dāng)形式完成句子。四、情感,策略和文化等目標(biāo):1.情感態(tài)度:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生了解大自然,熱愛大自然,熱愛生活的情操。2.學(xué)習(xí)策略:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生注意觀察天氣變化,懂得氣象知識,并了解大自然對我們的學(xué)習(xí),工作,生活密切相關(guān)。3.文化目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生收聽英語氣象預(yù)報的習(xí)慣,并能用英語描述不同的天氣情況。五、教學(xué)資源:students book5b p23-29. students work book p26-34六、教學(xué)時間:七課時其中5課時新授,2課時練習(xí)和復(fù)習(xí)及完成練習(xí)冊隨教學(xué)進(jìn)度完成。lesson plan (1): wonderlandi. pre-task preparation:1. daily talk (weather, school life, hobbies, families and so on.)2. ask two students to come to the front and talk about some topics.ii while-task procedure:1. learn the new words (shine, earth, comfortable, heat, seem, become, raindrop, a kind of) while talking about the weather and other things.2. t: today is fine. the sun shines. its warm .i feels comfortable. why do we feel warm in the sunshine? because our earth always goes around the sun. and the sun gives us heat.3. learn some other new words by talking about something.t: sometimes the weather changes. it looks very dark. it begins to rain. raindrops are running down the ground 4. write the phonetic symbols of the new words on the board. ask the students to read them out. 5. play the cassette: wonderland. students listen and follow with their books open. 6. play the cassette again. students listen and repeat. 7. let the students ask questions about the new words. 8. read the new words and the sentences in groups of four. pay attention to the pronunciation. try to remember the meanings of the new words and sentences.iii. post-task activities1. ask the students to remember the new words as soon as possible. 2. divide the students into groups of four. ask them to make sentences with the new words, the more the better. 3. ask individuals to say the sentences they have made.lesson plan (2): farmlandi. pre-task preparationread the rhyme “come for a swim”dictate some new words we learned last lessonii. while-task procedurereview the sentences of the wonderland.show the pictures of farmland. make dialogues with the students.whats the weather like tomorrow? (next week, next month)look at the sky; it will be rainy (hot, cool, cloudy, sunny, warm, dry, windy, foggy, cold)play the cassette: mini dialogue. students listen and follow.play the cassette again. students listen and repeat.ask them to read the dialogue.encourage them to make dialogues with their own words or new wordsdivide the students into groups. encourage them to talk about different weather.iii. post-task activitiesask the students to practice and act the mini dialogue in pairs.for example: s1: whats the weather like today? s2: its fine.
