Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A 1 (1a-2d)一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識目標(biāo):1) 能掌握以下單詞: newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just 能掌握以下句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. This is Jenny. Its Laura here. 2) 能掌握語法:現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài)的用法。3) 能運用所學(xué)的知識,描述人們正在干的事情。2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標(biāo):通過對本單元的學(xué)習(xí)活動,能培養(yǎng)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的強(qiáng)烈興趣,善于發(fā)現(xiàn)生活中正在發(fā)生的事情,積極思考,樂于助人,樂于參加各種活動的積極情感,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生團(tuán)結(jié)合作的精神。二、教學(xué)重難點1. 教學(xué)重點:1) 詞匯、詞組搭配和現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時的用法。能用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時的各種形式進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)確的描述和表達(dá)正在發(fā)生的動作。2) 能掌握現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài)及一些表示具體動作的詞組搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner 等 2. 教學(xué)難點: 現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時中現(xiàn)在分詞的結(jié)構(gòu)及讀音,能在交際中準(zhǔn)確地運用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時來描述或表達(dá)正在進(jìn)行的動作。三、教學(xué)過程I. Presentation1. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.) e.g. T: What are you doing? S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer) T: What is he /she doing? Ss: He /she is doing homework. Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a newspaper, listening to a CD, talking on the phone.as the same way. 2. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 3. Check the answers with the Ss. II Listening 1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now lets listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss twice.3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a and complete the sentences. 1) Jenny is _ TV. watching2) John is _ the dishes. washing3) Dave and Mary are _ to a CD. listeningIII. Pair work 1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. And conversations about other person in the picture.2. Ss make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations. A: Whats /What are they doing? B: is/ They are.IV. Listening 1. Work on 2a; T: Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and match the answers with the questions. )Check the answers. 2. Work on 2b. Let Ss read the conversation in 2b first. Then play the recording for the Ss twice. The first time Ss only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. (If necessary, press the Pause button to help.) Jack: Hello, Steve. Steve: Hi, Jack. Jack: What _ you _, Steve? aredoing Steve: Im _. What about you? watching TV Jack: Im _, but its kind of _. listening to a CD, boring Steve: Yeah, my TV show is also not very _. Do you want to _ the movies? interesting, go to Jack: That sounds good. V. Pair work 1. Ask Ss to role-play the conversation with partners.2. Let some pairs to act out the conversation in front of the class. VI. Role-play 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in 2d and match. 2. Check the answers with the Ss. 3. Let Ss work in pairs and role-play the conversation. VII. Language points1. This is Jenny. 我是詹妮。 這是打電話用語。打電話介紹自己時用“This is”或“Its”; 詢問對方用“Is that?”或“Whos that?”。 Translate the conversation.喂?我是鮑勃, 你是誰? _ Hello? This is Bob, whos that?你好, 鮑勃。我是邁克。 _ Hi, Bob. Its Mike here.2. Not much. (口語)沒什么大事。也可說成Nothing much, 表示自己有空。 例如: A: What are you doing, Linda? 你在做什么事,琳達(dá)? B: _ Im just reading a book. Not (Nothing) much. 沒什么事。我在讀一本書。3. Do you want to join me for dinner? 你想和我一起吃飯嗎? join somebody for something表示“與某人一起做某事; 參與或加入到某人的行列中一起做某事”。例如: 你來跟我們喝杯咖啡好嗎?我們有事要跟你談。_Would you come and join us for a cup of coffee? We need to talk to you. 4. Id love to. 我很樂意。 1) 交際用語,用于禮貌地接受他人邀請,還可以說成Id like to,但語氣比較弱。例如:Would you like to come with us to the show? 你愿意跟我們一起去看表演嗎? Thanks. _ Id like to. 謝謝,我愿意。2) 當(dāng)委婉拒絕他人邀請時,多用Id love to, but.或Sorry, Im afraid I cant because.等。Translate the conversation._ Im going to tow
