Whats this?Ss: Its hair.T: What does it look like?Ss: Its long and curly.T: What does your/ his /her hair look like?(Teach: short straight)T: What does he/she look like?Teach: be tall/short/medium build3.Teach Activity 1aPoint out the numbered list of words in 1a and let students read the list of words after yourFirst, and the dialogue ,say blank when you come to a blank line.T:You will hear a conversation between Amy and her friends .Then fill in the blanks in their conversation. Then look at the picture and find a boy Amy is talking about. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.3. Teach Activity 1cFirst, lead students to read the example conversation. Then explain some language points.Put students into pairs to talk about the looks of the people in the picture.They may do it like this:S1:What does your friend look like?S2:He/She isand he/she hasS3:Oh, I know him/her.
