Unit7 Will people have robots? Section A(2a-2d) 劉昀 Teaching aims(教學(xué)目標(biāo)): 1、Knowledge Objects(知識(shí)目標(biāo)) Key vocabulary: prediction, pollution, pollute, polluted, future, environment, planet, earth, plant, part, play a part. Target language:1. There will be more people/ fewer trees/ less free time.2. Cities will be more crowded and polluted.3. The environment will be in great danger.4. Everyone should play a part in saving the earth. 2、Ability Objects(能力目標(biāo))Students can make predictions about the future by using the simple future tense. 3、Moral Objects(情感目標(biāo))Students can love our city and love our environment and tomorrow will be better. 4、Teaching Key Points(教學(xué)重點(diǎn)): 1).The grammar: the present future tense. 2). Target language. 5、Difficult Points(教學(xué)難點(diǎn)): The Grammar : The use of fewer and less The simple future tense 6、Teaching Methods(教學(xué)方法): Listening, Free talk, Pair work; Role-play 7、Teaching Aids(教具使用): A tape recorder, the blackboard. Teaching procedures:(教學(xué)過程) Step1: Warm up and lead-in Play a short video about the changes in the world, and get the topic: The world is changing every day. Step2: Free talk and presentation 1、Show pictures of the changes of Chengdu. And guide the students to make predictions about the future of Chengdu.-What will the future be like in Chengdu.-There will be./It will be./People will. 2、Make predictions about the future of Chengdu together, and get the use of fewer and less.There will be more people/cars/pollution/free time.There will be fewer trees.There will be less water.3、Get the idea: The environment is getting worse and worse. Step3: Listening(2a,2b) 1)、2a, listen and circle the words you hear.2)、2b, listen and check. Step4: Pair work Model: A: whats your prediction about the future?B: I think there will be more pollution.A: Really? I dont think so. But I think there will be fewer trees.Step5: Role-play1) Before 2d, guide the students to get the ideas:The environment will be more polluted and in great danger./Some will move to other planets, and others still want to live on the earth. If we want to live on the earth, we should use less water, plant more trees and something else.
