Would you like a large one or a small one?3. Teaching key and difficult points:Write an ad for ones restaurant.4. Teaching aids: multimedia5. Teaching time: 45 minutes6. Teaching procedures:Step 1 Warming up Watch a video about : How to order food .Step 2 Guessing game Have the students guess: What kind of food/noodles would Miss Zhou like?Step 3 RevisionReview the names of fruit/vegetables/meat/food by asking the Ss : What do kind of fruit /would you like? Step 4 Presentation and practice( 1a-1d)1).Finish 1aMatch the words with the pictures. Then check the answers. 2).Finish 1b1. Have the students circle the things they like . Put a cross next to the things they dont like. 2. Pair workHave the students talk about their food preferences in pair.3).Finish 1c-1d Listening practice.1. Go through the food order from. And get the students understand the meaning of the words.2. Play the tape, the students listen and complete the chart.3. Play the tape again, the students listen and check the answers.4. Have the students role play the conversation in pair. 4).Finish 3aFill in the blanks in the ad with the words in the box. Check the answer.Step 5 Group work(3b)1). Imagine each group is a restaurant . Now you give a name to your restaurant and write it down. And think about what foods you have , make a menu and write down the foods and their prices.2). Now its your showing time! Each group ask one student to be a customer .(The other students to be a boss, a waiter , a waitress and two cooks). The customer wants to go to a restaurant for meal . The customer can choose any restaurant to have a meal. But while you are asking for severing , you have to speak English.Step 6 Writing (3c) Write an ad for your restaurant by yourself . Step 7 Summary Get the Ss to sum up what theyve learnt in this lesson.Step 8 Homework1. Copy the new words in Section B. 2. Finish the exercises in on P 79-80 3.
