(3) Quite a few people living near airports also have hearing loss. (4) Making a loud noise in public is also a kind of pollution; it not only disturbs others but also does great harm to hearing. 3. (教師展示多媒體上的圖片。)T: (指著圖片。) What are they burning?Ss: (幫學生回答并重復領讀解釋意思。) Coal.T: Can burning coal cause pollution?Ss:Yes. Burning coal can cause air pollution. T: Youre right.(教師展示多媒體上的圖片。) T: Look at the picture. People are producing electricity by wind. (教師釋義并領讀electricity。 )T: (指圖片。) Can it cause pollution? Ss: No. T: Youre right. It cant cause pollution.(讓學生重復讀。) Ss: Producing electricity by wind cant cause pollution.2. (教師讓學生完成1a中的pre-reading questions。) T: OK. Look at the phrases in 1a, and check () which is pollution. (學生可以討論,然后教師與學生核對答案。)Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈現(xiàn)(時間:14分鐘)T: You know, playing loud rock music at midnight is a kind of pollution. Why?Ss:Because playing loud rock music can make lots of noise. T: Lets look at the pictures. (教師展示多媒體圖片。)T: (指圖片問。) What are they doing?Ss: (教師幫助回答并釋義,領讀print。) They are printing newspapers. T: The machines are making loud noise. Can they hear each other clearly?Ss:No.T: They have to say the words again and again. If they work there for a long time, they may become deaf. T: When are they building houses?(教師指著圖片上的月亮/星星。)Ss:At night. T: Where are they?Ss:They are in a community. T: Yes, youre right. Some people are sleeping now. So they may disturb the other people in the community. So we shouldnt make loud noises in public. (教師板書解釋并領讀。)disturb, in public T: From the pictures, we know what causes noise pollution. (再次快速播放上述圖片,教師講述噪音污染的危害,導入1a。)T: Noise pollution can not only cause hearing loss but also make people sick. So noise pullution doesnt make people feel comfortable or pleasant. That is to say, “Noise pollution makes peoples lives uncomfortable and unpleasant. ”(教師領讀,并釋義。)T: (接著說) So we should do something to solve the noise pollution problems. Now, lets look at the two pictures in 1a, then listen to the tape, answer the question “Is the government trying to do something to solve all sorts of problems?”(播放錄音。)(聽完錄音,讓學生回答。)Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 鞏固(時間:5分鐘)1. Group 2: He has been in Beijing for 2 days / since 2 days ago. Group 3: The shop opened 3 minutes ago. Group 4: The shop has been open for 3 minutes / since 3 minutes ago. T: Well done.
