Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A (1a-2c)一、教材分析本節(jié)課內容設計是圍繞“everydayactivities”這一個話題“談論現在正在進行或發(fā)生的動作”,主要的教學內容是現在進行時,以“Whatareyoudoing?”這一主題引出現在進行時的一般疑問句,否定句以及特殊疑問句等語言功能。這一話題貼近學生的日常生活,語言素材源于學生生活實際,因此有助于提高學生學習英語的興趣。二、教學目標1. 知識目標1)短語和單詞doinghomework,watchingTV,cleaning,making soup,readinganewspaper,talkingonthephone, listening to a CD, washing the dishes2)句型結構Whatareyoudoing?ImwatchingTV.Whatshe/shedoing?He/Shesreading.Whataretheydoing?TheyrewatchingTV. -Ishereading?-Yes,heis./No,heisnt.3)語法ThestructureofthePresentProgressiveTenseThepresentparticiple2. 能力目標1)能用現在進行時的各種形式進行準確的描述和表達正在發(fā)生的動作。 2)能掌握現在進行時態(tài)及一些表示具體動作的詞組搭配,如:readinganewspaper, watchingTV,making soup等。3、情感目標通過對本單元的任務性活動,我的目的是能培養(yǎng)培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的強烈興趣,樂于參加各種活動的積極情感,樂于合作,培養(yǎng)學生團結合作的精神。4、學習策略通過本節(jié)課的教學,我要求學生能通過觀察別人的行為和活動時能用現在進行時來準確地表達所發(fā)生或進行的動作。三、教學的重點和難點教學重點:Whatareyoudoing?Iamv-ing.Whatishedoing?Heisv-ing.以及四會單詞和短語和現在進行時的用法。教學難點:現在進行時中現在分詞的結構及讀音,能在交際中準確地運用現在進行時來描述或表達正在進行的動作。四、教學設計Step 1. Warming-up and Lead- in 1. Greet the Students. 2. Check what they have previewed.Step 2. Game (guess)1. T: Now lets play a game. Ill show some pictures and you can just see some parts of these pictures, try to guess whats she/he doing?.2. Students watch and guess the actions. 3. Ask and answer about the pictures. Whats he/she doing? Hes/Shes Step 3. Presentation1.Ask students to discuss the Present Progressive Tense and its rules of formation. 2. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words and expressions. 3. Ss watch and learn the new words and expressions.4. Give students some time and try to remember the new words and expressions. 5. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.) e.g. T: What are you doing? S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer) T: What is he /she doing? Ss: He /she is doing homework. Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a book, eating dinner, talking on the phone.as the same way. 6. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 7. Check the answers with the students.Step 4. Listening 1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now lets listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Play the recording for the students twice.3. students listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a. Step 5. Pair work 1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. And conversations about other person in the picture.2. Students make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations. Step 6. Listening 1. Work on 2a; T: Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and match the answers with the questions. )Check the answers. 2. Work on 2b. Let students read the conversation in 2b first. Then play the recording for the Ss students twice. The first time students only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. (If necessary, press the Pause button to help.) Step 7. Pair work 1. Now, role-play the conversation with your partners.2. Let some pairs to act out the conversation in front of the class. Step 8. Homework1. Review the words and expressions in this period. 2. Understand the knowledge about the present progressive tense. 3.
