對外友好協(xié)會中英介紹

1、中國人民對外友好協(xié)會(簡稱“全國友協(xié)” )是中華人民共和國從事民間外交事業(yè)的全國性 人民團體，以增進(jìn)人民友誼、推動國際合作、維護世界和平、促進(jìn)共同發(fā)展為工作宗旨，代 表中國人民在國際社會和世界各國廣交深交朋友，奠定和擴大中國與世界各國友好關(guān)系的社會基礎(chǔ)，致力于全人類團結(jié)進(jìn)步的事業(yè)。全國友協(xié)貫徹執(zhí)行中國獨立自主的和平外交政策， 遵循和平共處五項原則，開展全方位、多層次、寬領(lǐng)域的民間友好工作，為實現(xiàn)中國的和平發(fā)展與和平統(tǒng)一大業(yè)服務(wù)，為建設(shè)持久和平、共同繁榮的和諧世界而努力奮斗。全國友協(xié)的各項活動得到中國政府的支持和社會各界的贊助，已設(shè)立46個中外地區(qū)、國別友好協(xié)會，與世界上157個國家的近500個

2、民間團體和組織機構(gòu)建立了友好合作關(guān)系。中國人民對外友好協(xié)會的主要任務(wù)是：開展中外民間友好交往，組織代表團互訪，舉辦紀(jì)念慶典，倡議和主辦研討會、洽談會、 論壇等交流活動，增進(jìn)與各國人民之間的相互了解，建立信任，發(fā)展友誼。推動國際合作，建立交流機制，搭建合作平臺，促進(jìn)中外雙方在經(jīng)濟、科技、人才等多領(lǐng) 域的務(wù)實合作，為實現(xiàn)互利共贏、共同發(fā)展創(chuàng)造有利條件。開展中外民間文化交流，派出和接待文化藝術(shù)團體和人士進(jìn)行友好訪問，舉辦演出和展覽，促進(jìn)中外文化互鑒，加深了解和友誼。受政府委托，協(xié)調(diào)管理我國同外國建立和發(fā)展友好城市關(guān)系的工作，推動中外地方和城市的交流與合作。作為世界城市和地方政府聯(lián)合組織的成員，代表中

3、國地方政府參與國際合作。作為在聯(lián)合國經(jīng)社理事會具有全面咨商地位的非政府組織，廣泛參與聯(lián)合國的事務(wù)，積極參加其他國際非政府組織的交流活動，有效傳遞中國的信息。發(fā)展中外民間友好力量， 建立對不同地區(qū)和國家的友協(xié)團體，聯(lián)系各國對華友好組織、 社會團體和人士，向為民間友好做出重要貢獻(xiàn)的組織和人士，分別授予“人民友好使者”榮譽稱號、“人民友誼貢獻(xiàn)獎”、中外兩國友好使者榮譽稱號和中外兩國友好貢獻(xiàn)獎。致力于維護世界和平、人類共同安全的事業(yè)，聲援各國人民爭取國家發(fā)展、社會進(jìn)步、維護主權(quán)和安全的正義斗爭。開展其它有關(guān)中國人民同各國人民友好合作的工作。中國人民對外友好協(xié)會是一九五四年五月三日由十個全國性的社會團體

4、聯(lián)合發(fā)起成立的。最初稱中國人民對外文化協(xié)會，一九六六年改稱中國人民對外文化友好協(xié)會，一九六九年起改稱現(xiàn)名。會址設(shè)在北京。在中國各省、自治區(qū)、直轄市及部分市、區(qū)、縣設(shè)有地方對外友好 協(xié)會。中國人民對外友好協(xié)會每五年召開一次全國理事會會議，選舉會長、副會長、秘書長，并組成常務(wù)理事會。第十屆全國理事會會議于二O二年五月召開，選舉李小林女士繼續(xù)擔(dān)任會長。TheChinesePeople sAssociationforFriendshipwithForeignCountries(CPAFFC)isanationalpeople ganizationengagedinpeople-to- peopledi

23、表擔(dān)任本會單位理事。如代表的工作崗位發(fā)生變動，會員單位應(yīng)該另行推舉代表，并報全國友協(xié)常務(wù)理事會審批。第十X五條本會可聘請社會知名人士擔(dān)任特邀理事，特邀理事即為本會個人會員。第十六條本會單位會員代表和個人會員須遵守憲法和法律，對觸犯刑法的，自動撤銷其理事資格。第十七條本會會員應(yīng)該遵守本會章程，為實現(xiàn)本會宗旨而承擔(dān)一定工作，積極參加本會組織的民間外交活動，并有權(quán)享受本會提供的在國際交往方面的服務(wù)。第四章機構(gòu)第十八條本會最高權(quán)力機構(gòu)是全國理事會，每屆任期五年，除任期開始時召開一次全體會議外，屆中至少還應(yīng)再召開一次。第十九條全國理事會的組成應(yīng)注意廣泛性和代表性，由上一屆理事會與社會各界協(xié)商決定。第二十

24、條全國理事會的職權(quán)：（一）審查本會工作報告，決定工作方針和任務(wù)；（二）根據(jù)形勢發(fā)展和工作需要修改本會章程；（三）決定聘請名譽會長、名譽顧問和顧問；（四）選舉會長、副會長和秘書長。第二一條會長、副會長和秘書長組成常務(wù)理事會，主持本會日常工作并負(fù)責(zé)向全國理事會報告工作。常務(wù)理事會可決定組成人員的個別調(diào)整，但必須經(jīng)下一次全國理事會追認(rèn)。常務(wù)理事會可決定設(shè)副秘書長若干人，并建立必要的辦事機構(gòu)。 根據(jù)需要，常務(wù)理事會可決定臨時召集全國理事會會議。第二十二條各省、自治區(qū)、直轄市及所屬的市、區(qū)、縣，可以根據(jù)需要建立相應(yīng)的對外友好 協(xié)會。作為相應(yīng)級別的人民團體，各省、自治區(qū)、直轄市以及市、區(qū)、縣對外友協(xié)在業(yè)務(wù)
