30、 arrangement will describe a multipurpose river/ sea vessel. the vessel will be designed, constructed and built for general cargoes, timber, paper and bulkcargoes such as coal, grain as well as dangerous goods. the vessel will be a single screw vessel with the machinery, auxiliary equipment and acco
31、mmodation located aft. the vessel will be arranged as per general arrangement plan 001. specific details as mentioned in the specification may vary as the design develops. this specification will not give a complete description of the vessel with respect to all systems and equipment. 1.2 - hull desc
32、ription the vessel will be arranged with transom stern, one (1) deck, forecastle, raked stem and bulbous bow. the vessel will have the following compartments: -forepeak/ bowthrusterroom (which forms one compartment with forecastle); -deeptank; -cargohold/ double bottom/ wingtanks; -deckhouse; -engin
33、e room; -aft peak. wing tanks and double bottom in cargo area, fore- and aftpeak tank will be suitable for ballast water. two wingtanks will be suitable for fuel oil. freshwater tanks will be arranged in the double bottom. the wheelhouse will be situated on top of a one-tier deckhouse structure. the

45、iotic flag. 1.9 - certificates odelyspecification of 4k mpcom-lc90611-01page 11/89 marine engineering the following certificates will be supplied by the contractor: -class certificates for hull and machinery; -safety certificates - safety construction; -safety equipment; -safety radio; -dangerous go
46、ods; -international tonnage certificate; -freeboard certificate; -certificates for main machinery and auxiliaries; -certificates for anchors, chains, compass, lantern and medicine chest; -certificates for life saving equipment; -deratting certificate; -all other certificates for material/ equipment
47、as required by class and other authorities; -iopp (marpol). if formal certificates are not available at ships delivery, the contractor will furnish provisional certificates to the buyer which substitutes the formal certificates. in such case, the contractor will deliver formal certificates to the bu
48、yer as soon as practicable after the ships delivery. class certificates will be without any restrictions. 1.10 - drawings and calculations 1.10.1 - drawings all drawings that are made for this newbuilding by the contractor are to be submitted to the buyer for approval. all required drawings are sent
49、 to the classification society. any remarks are passed on in writing to the buyer. meetings between classification society, contractor and buyer are held together if possible, by what correction/definite agreements are recorded. it is the task of the buyer to see to it that within a term of 15 weekd
50、ays an approved specimen of each submitted plan, may be with remarks, will be in the possession of the contractor. the contractor will try to send the drawings spread. when the term of 15 weekdays has elapsed the contractor presumes that the drawings have been approved without remarks. the contracto
51、r will keep an all over review of all drawings, that have been fiat given to and that have been approved by the classification society and the buyer. a set of approved drawings will be put at disposal of the buyers representative. all changes in the building documents will only be executed with the
52、permission of the buyer. special wishes of the buyer shall be taken into account if these fall within the guarantee clauses of the contractor or the subcontractors. all information, indication plates, nameplates, as well as instruction books etc. throughout the vessel will be in english language. na
