Train students listening, speaking, reading and writing ability.二、Teaching and learning steps :Step One: Revision: Have a free talk to practice the Object Clause using the pictures in the flashcard. eg. -Could
3、 you tell me where the post office is ? -Sure. It is on the Bridge Street. etc.Step Two: Preview: 1、Let the students read the words according to the phonetic symbols.(讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)用據(jù)音標(biāo)讀單詞,學(xué)會(huì)自學(xué),這樣為他們的終身學(xué)習(xí)奠定基礎(chǔ)) 2. Look at P88, put the following into English orally, then write them down without looking at the

7、法,為下一步的閱讀及對(duì)話練習(xí)做好了鋪墊。)Step Four : Reading1. Read the first two sentences at the top of the article Explain that the interviewer will talk to several teenagers. Ask students to read the interview on their own and write the advantages and disadvantages,Check the answers. 【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】: 訓(xùn)練學(xué)生集中精力快速閱讀,敏銳捕獲信息的能力跳
8、讀的能力,一般的中下等學(xué)生都能找出。此環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計(jì)簡單,目的讓學(xué)生樹立信心。 2. Then ask students to read the interview again. (When they have finished, ask if any words or sentences they dont understand .Write these words or sentences on the board and discuss them. Ask other students to explain them in their own words, if possible). 3. T
9、he student read the dialogue in pairs, try to have dialogues without books.【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】: 此閱讀讓學(xué)生從整體上理解thereview,解疑答惑之后,讓學(xué)生大聲朗讀對(duì)話,目的是讓學(xué)生在讀的過程中,體會(huì)各詞匯及語法要點(diǎn),同時(shí)提高他們讀和口語表達(dá)能力,為讀后輸出做準(zhǔn)備。Step Five :Post-reading activities讀后活動(dòng)Task One :Show the following flashcard, ask the students to fill in the blanks. Task Two : R
10、ead it aloud, try to retell them.【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】這是關(guān)于3a Review評(píng)論的課文復(fù)述,此環(huán)節(jié)分層次要求,程度中下等可看課件復(fù)述,成績優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生,可用自己的語言復(fù)述。(鼓勵(lì)中下等學(xué)生讀出,小組競賽復(fù)述這篇對(duì)于逛商場(chǎng)的評(píng)論,哪怕說一句也要表揚(yáng),讓他們體會(huì)成功)。 此環(huán)節(jié)不僅是進(jìn)一步的培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力,也培養(yǎng)他們的復(fù)述課文的能力。讓學(xué)生在了解文章的基礎(chǔ)上,鍛煉他們的思維能力、口頭表達(dá)能力。Task Three :Groupwork 1. Read the instructions to the class. Point out the conversation i
11、n the box and ask two students to read to the class.2. Point out the list of advantages and disadvantages in activity 3a .Ask the students to use these items and any other items they can think of as they talk about places where they usually hang out .3.Ask students to work in groups and then ask a f
12、ew groups to present parts of their conversations to the class.【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】:學(xué)生首先兩人一組做對(duì)話,聊他們平時(shí)喜歡去的地方,可不拘泥3b形式,鼓勵(lì)英語基礎(chǔ)薄弱的學(xué)生大膽說出,哪怕能說一句也是成功。在做對(duì)話中,學(xué)生在潛移默化中學(xué)會(huì)了解了advantages and disadvantages這兩個(gè)個(gè)單詞。Task Four :Use the target language to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking. 1) Ask students to look bac
13、k at the picture and activities on the first page of this unit .2) Ask a student to read the example in the box to the class.3)Ask students to say the names of some stores and other places in the community and write them on the board. 4) Each group can choose three of each to write about, or they ca
14、n choose another place they know of .Write carefully directions from the school to each place , but do not say the name of the place ,they can use the words this place instead.5) When the groups are ready, they read their directions to the class and the other students guess the names of the places t
15、hey are talking about. 【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】:Use the target language to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking.利用本課的目標(biāo)語言進(jìn)行聽說讀寫的各項(xiàng)練習(xí)。另外,操練用題不一定拘泥于課本,可選擇他們感興趣的話題進(jìn)行討論,做調(diào)查,甚至寫作。通過由淺入深,由易到難的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì),學(xué)生已經(jīng)可以順利的表達(dá)出來,寫下來當(dāng)然就容易的多了,并運(yùn)用多元的角度進(jìn)行及時(shí)評(píng)價(jià),并抓住任何一次可能的機(jī)會(huì)進(jìn)行表揚(yáng),讓中下游的學(xué)生體驗(yàn)成功。Step Six: Sum up課堂小結(jié):【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】學(xué)生盡可能自己有條理說出今日所學(xué),
16、讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)自己總結(jié)Step Seven : The end of class test 當(dāng)堂檢測(cè): Homework :教學(xué)反思:本節(jié)課一開始,先展示了一些地點(diǎn)的圖片,吸引學(xué)生們的興趣,并引導(dǎo)他們運(yùn)用Could you tell me where .?句型,為本課閱讀打下好的基礎(chǔ),為投入本課的學(xué)習(xí)創(chuàng)造積極的心理狀態(tài),并引入本節(jié)課的主題:對(duì)逛商場(chǎng)評(píng)論的閱讀。快速閱讀讀取大意,降低了閱讀的難度,增強(qiáng)了學(xué)生尤其是中下水平學(xué)生的自信心;通過讀取細(xì)節(jié),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在閱讀的過程中,根據(jù)任務(wù)要求,抓住細(xì)節(jié),解決實(shí)際問題的能力和快速瀏覽信息和迅速撲捉有用信息能力,利于提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力。同時(shí)我又利用activitis3 and 4,討論某個(gè)地點(diǎn)的優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)以及會(huì)描述從一個(gè)地方到另一個(gè)地方的路徑,此環(huán)節(jié)為本節(jié)課的輸出。我認(rèn)為學(xué)習(xí)不應(yīng)拘泥形式,要找學(xué)生們感興趣的話題,真正的教學(xué),每一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)都是在教會(huì)學(xué)生如何學(xué)習(xí),一切的中心、重心都是在想方設(shè)法培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的終身學(xué)習(xí)能力。而這些能力的培養(yǎng),離不開老師的激勵(lì)、表揚(yáng),樹立學(xué)生的自信和成就感。亮點(diǎn):圖片的導(dǎo)入,吸引學(xué)生們的興趣,并讓他們說出對(duì)逛商場(chǎng)
