英美文化培訓(xùn)課程

1、英美文化教學(xué)大綱執(zhí)筆人：余蓮君一、課程性質(zhì)、地位和作用本課程是我院英語教育專業(yè)的一門選修基礎(chǔ)課程，屬A類（理論）課，為英語教育專業(yè)的選修課程。通過本課程的學(xué)習(xí)，讓學(xué)生了解英美國家地理、歷史、政治、經(jīng)濟、社會、文化和生活等方面知識；同時通過課文的閱讀，提高學(xué)生對社會與文化類英語讀物的閱讀能力，學(xué)會用英語進行相關(guān)的交談、討論，并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生正確分析認識有關(guān)英美國家問題的能力，并能以正確的眼光分析看待問題。二、課程教學(xué)對象、目的和要求本課程適合英語專業(yè)二、三年級學(xué)生。開設(shè)本課程的目的在于使學(xué)生通過學(xué)習(xí)，能夠比較全面地了解英美國家的各種基本情況和制度，學(xué)會與之相關(guān)的英語語匯和表達方式。 本課程涵蓋量較大，

2、要讓學(xué)生在較短的時間內(nèi)完全了解英美兩國的具體情況是無法做到的。因此，在進行本課程的教學(xué)時，應(yīng)注意以下幾點： 1學(xué)生在課外多收集關(guān)于英美兩國的資料，有助于充分理解各個部分的知識。 2. 教師除了進行課堂講解外，還應(yīng)多提供一些知識內(nèi)容有關(guān)的資料。 3.要求學(xué)生做好課前預(yù)習(xí)和課后知識的鞏固。三、課程的相關(guān)課程及其關(guān)系本課程的前導(dǎo)課程為英語精讀、泛讀、英語聽力、英語口語、語法等。通過這些課程的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生已經(jīng)形成了較好的聽說讀寫能力，能夠為本課程的學(xué)習(xí)提供較好的語言基礎(chǔ)。 學(xué)好本課程后，學(xué)生的英語基礎(chǔ)得到提高，反過來可以促進其他課程的學(xué)習(xí)。 四、課程內(nèi)容及學(xué)時分配本課程安排在第四學(xué)期選修，總課時為34節(jié)
