The topic of this unit is travel journal. And the reading passage in this unit is Journey Down the Mekong

2、, a journal of Wang Kun who is a student. The analysis of learning conditionThe students are from grade1 in senior high school. As they are young teenagers who have strong desire to travel, they are interested in this topic. Meanwhile, for students of this age, they have many opportunities to travel

3、 around and theyve got information of the river from other subjects, they may be familiar with the Mekong River. The passage is not that difficult for them. But there may be some difficult new words and phrases in the passage, so we teacher need to help the students with the words to have better und

4、erstanding of the passage. At last, since they are in grade1, they are easily activated and want to share their own opinions on the topic.
