1、Unit 8 Lesson 1 Adventure Holidays(Period One) Analysis of the teaching materials:本課是第八單元第一課,閱讀課。本課通過閱讀一篇喜馬拉雅山旅游探險海報讓學生了解雪山探險的一些可能的經(jīng)歷。同時,本課還要求學生掌握狀態(tài)動詞和動態(tài)動詞以及形容詞和副詞的區(qū)別。由于本課內(nèi)容較多,因此要用兩課時完成。以下為第一課時,主要以完成閱讀為主,提高學生閱讀能力,同時通過閱讀,鼓勵同學們鍛煉身體,以健康的體魄感受祖國大好山河。Teaching aims :1. To improve students reading ability.2
2、. To identify paragraph topics in a reading text.3. To cultivate their interest in speaking English.4. To develop students spirit of adventure and encourage them to do some exercise.Learning Focus :1. Cultivate the students reading ability :Fast reading: to get the main idea of the whole text.Carefu

Students listen to the first paragraph of the text and imagine they are on an adventure holiday in the Himalayas.3. Students read the first paragraph and make out where the text is from and the teacher explains what “Advent
