1、說 課 稿新目標八年級上冊Unit9 When was he born?(Section B 3a-4)一、教材分析 Analyzing teaching material1. 話題和課型 Topic and lesson type  The lesson is focused on the topic of famous people. It is a reading lesson, and its helpful to improve the Ss communicative and reading ability.2.本節(jié)課分為四個部分內(nèi)容,分別是:section B的3a.3

2、b.3c和4四個部分.This lesson has four parts. They are 3a, 3b, 3c and 4 of section B.3.本節(jié)課是在學習section A的基礎上,進一步學習when引導的時間狀語從句。This lesson is based on section A, and study Adverbial clauses with when further. 二、教學目標和要求 Teaching aims and demands 1認知目標 knowledge objects1). 讓學生記住以下新單詞和短語。Enable the Ss to reme

3、mber the following new words and phrases: well-known, pianist, could, hum, piece, accordion, alive, athlete, piece of music, take part in, at the age of, win first prize2).讓學生熟悉句型。Let the Ss to be familiar with this sentence pattern:When was he born? He was born in 1982.When did he begin to learn th

4、e accordion?He began to learn the accordion at the age of four.2.智能目標 ability objects  1) 要求學生會用when 引導的時間狀語從句。Ask Ss to use Adverbial clauses with when.2)培養(yǎng)他們獨立學習的能力。Develop their ability of learning independently.3德育目標 moral objects鼓勵學生向名人學習,并努力成為像他們一樣的人。Encourage the Ss to learn from fa

6、tions 3)Improve their reading skills.四、教學難點 Teaching difficult points (語法;發(fā)展交際能力)1)通過小組活動,讓學生談論他們崇拜的人。Through group work, make Ss talk about famous people they admire.2) 通過表演對話,鍛煉他們的語言交際能力。Through acting out their own dialogue, develop their communicative ability. 五、教法 Teaching methods1)任務型教學法。給學生布置

7、任務,讓他們帶著任務學習。Task-based teaching method: set tasks for Ss and make them learn English in tasks.2) 語言交際教學。讓學生用兩兩對話或小組對話來掌握名人成功的方法。Communicative language teaching method: Ss can use pair-work or group-work to grasp the way to describe famous people succeed.六、學法 Study methods  1) 主動學習法。讓學生自己先

8、閱讀短文并找出穩(wěn)重的常用短語,然后在老師的引導下完成3b的練習,最后師生以問答的形式核對答案。Study independently: ask Ss read the article by themselves first and underlineimportant phrases. With the guiding of teacher, finish 3b and then check answers.2) 反饋補救法:在練習中,注意觀察學生對學習的反饋情況,以實現(xiàn)“培優(yōu)扶差,滿足不同”。Feedback law of remedies: in practice, pay attenti

9、on to the observation of studentfeedback on learning and help them if they need.七、教具 Teaching aids (multi-media computer, software, OHP)I use multi-media computer, software as my teaching aids. It can also make the Ss reach a better understanding of the text by making the classes lively and interest

He was born in 1963.When was David Beckham born? He was born in 1975.How long did Charles Smith hiccup? He hiccupped for 69 years

Ask one student to stand in front of the class and describe the person who he/she knows well and admires by answering the others questions in Part 4:A: Is the person a man or a woman?B: He is a man.C: Is

15、he alive?B: No, he isnt.D: Was he an athlete?B: No, he wasnt.E: Was he a pianist?B: No, he wasnt. Then the teacher asks the student to describe the man to the class.
