1、Reading 說(shuō)課稿Hello, everyone. I am very pleased to have an opportunity to talk to you about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is about some background information about YO-YO Ma. taken from M8U2 in Senior two- The universal language. To make my presentation clear, I divide my whole plan into six par

2、ts. Part 1. The analysis of teaching material. Part 2. Something about the students. Part 3. Teaching methods teaching aids. Part 4. Learning method. Part 5. Teaching procedure, and the last part is black-board writing design. Now, I will introduce them one by one.Part 1. The analysis of teaching ma

3、terialThis lesson is an extensive reading passage of Turandot in Beijing. Which plays a very important role in this unit. The topic of this unit is Turandot. By reading a review of an opera, Ss had a general understanging of the writer and the background information of Turandot and different sentenc

4、es to talk about their favourite musicians, and idols. This passage talks about the world-famous cellist, YO-YO Ma. To help students understand better, I made the following Teaching aims. 1) Teaching aims:· Knowledge aims: Understand the background information about YO-YO Ma; information about

5、Grammy Awards and the Grammyphone Awards;· Ability aims: Organize an interview and talk about YO-YO Ma;· Emotional aims: Build a positive attitude towards YO-YO Ma.2) Teaching important points:·Train the students reading ability and develop their reading skills. ·Enable the stude

6、nts to understand what an interview is. 3) Teaching difficult points: ·Part 2. Something about the studentsAs the center of my class, my students have already acquired a certain amount of words and expressions, and equipped with basic reading skills, which make it possible to generally understa

7、nd the passage. While they have learned English for several years, they are still in lack of the background knowledge of the English, such as the history of English , how it changes and why. Whats more, they need more chance to practice the reading skills, so that they can use correctly and freely.

8、Concerning of the teaching material and my students learning condition , I set following achievable and practical Learning Objectives ·They are lack of the background information about YO-YO Ma.·They are enthusiastic about listening to music and talking about music.·They cant tell the

9、 differences of different music styles. Part 3. Teaching methods and teaching aidsTeaching methods: ·Fast reading to get a general idea of the text.·Question and answer activity to get the detailed information in the text.·Explanations for students to master some language points. Teac

10、hing aids: · A computer and a courseware· A projector本單元以歌劇“圖蘭朵”為話題,旨在通過(guò)單元教學(xué),使學(xué)生通過(guò)英國(guó)音樂(lè)雜志記者Jane Jones的劇評(píng),了解“圖蘭朵”的作者及故事背景,學(xué)會(huì)使用適當(dāng)句型來(lái)評(píng)論自己喜歡的作曲家、歌星或樂(lè)隊(duì);在語(yǔ)法上學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)Ellipsis省略的用法,能根據(jù)不同情況使用;能寫(xiě)一篇書(shū)評(píng)或?yàn)橛⒄Z(yǔ)流行歌曲寫(xiě)篇評(píng)論。整個(gè)單元幫助學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)音樂(lè)的魅力,通過(guò)欣賞著名歌劇及世界著名音樂(lè)家的歷史,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的音樂(lè)鑒賞能力及個(gè)人的綜合素質(zhì),幫助學(xué)生理解各種音樂(lè)的創(chuàng)作特點(diǎn)。最終讓學(xué)生了解音樂(lè)作為世界性的語(yǔ)言,把全人類(lèi)緊密的聯(lián)系起來(lái)。 通過(guò)閱讀,使學(xué)生了解歌劇圖蘭朵的故事內(nèi)容、作者及表演形
