Status and functionThe analysis of teaching material comes first. The topic of this unit is about consequences. It is close to students lives and can arouse their interests. As

Teaching guidelineGo for it: Language is for communication, develop their four skills, lay special emphasis on reading; develop reading skill and discourse analysis; get them to und

8、Get the Ss to form good learning habits.四、Teaching procedures Teaching procedures : Step 1 Leading in Greetings and free talk . Step 2 Warm up By using a song, to lead in If I am happy ,Ill smile. Ss think it over ,and try to follow me make the new sentence. Step 3 Teaching Write their sentences on
9、the Bb .<i write and then continue to show the pictures> If I am sad, Ill cry. If he is ill, hell go to see the doctor. Practice reading thesentences by the Ss . Step4 While-task Ss page73 , 1a .Read the statements and responses by the Ss .Then work into pairs. And show them out. Then, Talk ab
10、out 1b, listening with a tape. Practice listening . Make sure the Ss understand what should they do .Play the tape twice .Ss circle the answers they hear .Play the tape a third time .Check the answers .Third ,listen again, to finish 2b.Maybe this step is a little diffcult for Ss, but teacher can help them lisren it sentence by sentence.
