GPON簡介1.1 GPON技術(shù)起源于19

36、95年開始逐漸形成的 ATMPON技術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，PON 是英文 無源光網(wǎng)絡(luò)”的縮寫。而GPON(Gigabit-Capable PON)最早由FSANd0Pment組織于2002年9月提出，ITU-T在此基礎(chǔ)上于2003年3月完成了 ITU-T G984.1和G.984.2的制定，2004年2月和6月完成了 G984.3的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化。 從而最終形成了 GPON的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)族。 基于GPON技術(shù)的設(shè)備基本結(jié)構(gòu)與已 有的PON類似，也是由局端的 OLT（光線路終端），用戶端的ONT/ONU（光 網(wǎng)絡(luò)終端或稱作光網(wǎng)絡(luò)單元），連接前兩種設(shè)備由單模光纖（SM巾ber）和無 源分光器（Splitter）組成的ODN（光

37、分配網(wǎng)絡(luò)）以及網(wǎng)管系統(tǒng)組成。1.2 GPON的特點及優(yōu)勢（1）前所未有的高帶寬。GPON速率高達(dá)2 .5 Gbps,能提供足夠大的帶寬以 滿足未 來網(wǎng)絡(luò)日益增長的對高帶寬的需求，同時非對稱特性更能適應(yīng)寬帶數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)市場。（2） QoS保證的全業(yè)務(wù)接入。GPON能夠同時承載 ATM信元和/或GEM 幀，有很 好的提供服務(wù)等級、支持 QoS保證和全業(yè)務(wù)接入的能力。目前， ATM承載話音、PDH、 Ethernet等多業(yè)務(wù)的技術(shù)已經(jīng)非常成熟；使用 GEM承載各種用戶業(yè)務(wù)的技術(shù)也得到大家的一致認(rèn)可，已經(jīng)開始廣泛應(yīng)用和發(fā)展。（3） 很好地支持TDM業(yè)務(wù)。TDM業(yè)務(wù)映射到GEM幀中，由于GPON TC 幀幀

38、長為125 s,能夠直接支持TDM 業(yè)務(wù)。TDM業(yè)務(wù)也可映射到 ATM 信元中，也能提供有QoS保證的實時傳輸。（4）簡單、高效的適配封裝。采用 GEM對多業(yè)務(wù)流實現(xiàn)簡單、高效的適配 封裝。在APON中，所有的多業(yè)務(wù)流（話音、數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)流）都必需進(jìn)行協(xié) 議轉(zhuǎn)化，映射到ATM信元中傳輸。眾所周知，5字節(jié)的ATM頭相對于 48字節(jié)的數(shù)據(jù)來說，會帶來超過10%的帶寬損失，特別對于長分組的數(shù) 據(jù)包來說，其打包過程復(fù)雜、效率非常低。而在 EPON中，雖然直接承載 以太網(wǎng)幀，實現(xiàn)過程簡單，但僅考慮8B/ 10B的線路編碼就已經(jīng)有20%的 帶 寬浪費，加上對以太網(wǎng)幀的封裝和開銷，EPON帶寬利用率比 GPON
