1、-ENGLISH!?Abstract:Keywords:English is the most important language in the world and it is one of the most important subjects in junior high so we should learn it well.Learning English just like learning other language, is hard work so we should spend lots of time on it every day. We should have good

2、 ways of learning English, such as listen to the teacher carefully,review what is learned regularly, prepare each lesson carefully before class, do our homework carefully, copy good sentences and recite them and attend English debates and speech contests. Whats more,it is very useful to listen to En

3、glish programs and read English magazines and books. When we make mistakes, correct them at once. Dont be shy of asking others for help when we have difficulties. I believe practice makes perfect. I am sure if we study hard, we will learn English well.Learning english can be a very difficult task fo

4、r most people, this is because we dont live in a environment where we are forced to speak or write english. so i think the best way to learn english is by municating with others using the lagnguage itself and not just learn from the book. Im sure if you live in an environment such as a foreign count

5、ry and were forced to speak and write english everyday then your english will imprve dramatically. Although we must agree that we need to read and write english from the book in order to get the foundations that we need for basic munication, this is essential but as i said, this is only a foundation

9、oute that we went down.Bill DeMong says that growing up in Lake Placid, New York, with the26-story tall large hill jump tower on the horizon, he was alwayse*posed to the sport. But DeMong told VOA Sports that the first time hetried ski jumping, he had to conquer something every Nordic binedskier fac

10、es - fear.I started on a jump that was literally the size of a mogul. I think it took me like twomonths to go off it with the full speed and actually go anywhere,DeMong recalled.Demong says that part of the challenge of the ski jump is to get into agood rhythm and stay there. With Nordic bined athletes limited toas few as five jumps a week, Demong said being a mo

12、re e*periencedathlete helps him maintain the focus to pete.And that focus has paid off. Demong and Lodwick led a U.S.breakthrough at last years World Championships in Liberec, the CzechRepublic. Lodwick became the first American to win two gold medals ata single world championship. DeMong took bronz

13、e in the 10-kilometernormal hill event and then won gold in the large hill petition.The victories helped Lodwick to reignite his petitive fire. Aftergoing to four Olympic games with no medal, Lodwick, 33, now a fatherof two, left the sport in 2006 to sell real estate in his hometown ofSteamboat Spri

14、ngs Colorado. Todd Lodwick told VOA sports that thebreak gave him a chance to realize how much he loved Nordicbined.It was hard to be away from home and away from the family,e*plained Lodwick. And it was the birth of my first child and I got agreat opportunity to sell some really e*pensive land and

15、be in the realestate business that I loved. And I think its important to take a breakand e back to it. I mean, I found a new love for the sport, a newdedication.In Vancouver, Lodwick will be peting in his fifth Olympics, only thethird American to be named to fiveWinter Games squads. But for all hise

16、*perience, Lodwick has never won an Olympic medal. Eight years agohe came close, but his Games ended in disappointment.Lodwick and Demong were part of the U.S. squad that was third afterthe jumping portion of the team event. But a bination ofimmaturity and bad ski wa*ing left them off the podium. Bi
