20、上的單復(fù)數(shù)要與謂語的單復(fù)數(shù)形式一致。3) 就近原則,即謂語動詞的單復(fù)形式取決于最靠近它的詞語,一般來說,不可數(shù)名詞用動詞單數(shù),可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)用動詞復(fù)數(shù)。There is much water in the thermos.但當(dāng)不可數(shù)名詞前有表示數(shù)量的復(fù)數(shù)名詞時,謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。Ten thousand tons of coal were produced last year. 一、語法一致:1. and連接兩個或兩個以上單數(shù)名詞或者代詞作主語的時候, 謂語動詞有以下兩種情況: (1)如果指兩個或兩個以上不同的人或事物的時候, 謂語動詞用復(fù)數(shù)。 He and I _are_ both stud

24、oliday. 三、 概念一致原則:所謂概念一致原則是指謂語動詞和主語一致不是取決于主語的語法形式, 而是其實際意義。有的主語名詞在形式上是單數(shù), 但在意義上卻是復(fù)數(shù);有的主語名詞在形式上是復(fù)數(shù), 但在意義上卻是單數(shù)。1. 不定代詞all, more, some, any, none作主語, 謂語動詞視情況而定。All of the apples _are_ rotten. 所有的蘋果都爛了。All of the apple _is_ rotten. 整個蘋果都爛了。不定代詞all, more, some, any, none作主語, 謂語動詞視情況而定。None of the money _

28、sking for you. Nothing is found in the room6. 某些名詞如clothes, trousers, shoes, glasses等, 通常只用其復(fù)數(shù)形式, 但當(dāng)它們被a pair of 修飾時, 謂語動詞用單數(shù)。如: The pair of shoes is worn out.
