1、2009教 學(xué)設(shè) 計(jì) 征 稿高中英語人教必修一第四單元閱讀課教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)A NIGHT THE EARTH DIDNT SLEEP江西省贛州市第三中學(xué)徐 英(341000) Email:xuyingxy2003Tel、教學(xué)課型:閱讀課二、教材分析 1教材處理本單元中心話題為“地震”,闡述了地震的成因、震前預(yù)兆、地震造成的損失、地震時(shí)的應(yīng)急措施以及震后的救援等。我將Warming-up 和Reading兩部分組合成一課時(shí)。Warming-up中的圖片是唐山地震和洛杉磯地震的兩副圖片,引出話題“一旦地震發(fā)生,將會(huì)造成怎樣的危害”,為后面的主題作一個(gè)熱身運(yùn)動(dòng)。Pre-readi
2、ng 部分提供了地震前兆的圖片,設(shè)置了兩個(gè)開放性問題,目的是增加學(xué)生的生活常識(shí),提高他們的應(yīng)變能力。這部分為接下來的閱讀作了很好的鋪墊,學(xué)生可通過運(yùn)用一些生活常識(shí)來回答這兩個(gè)問題。考慮到我們所在的城市沒有發(fā)生過地震,課文的內(nèi)容不符合學(xué)生的認(rèn)知特點(diǎn)和已有的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn),因此我用圖片和汶川地震的即時(shí)錄象報(bào)道來補(bǔ)充其背景知識(shí)。Reading 部分具體描寫了1976年唐山大地震的震前、震中和震后的情況。作者詳細(xì)描述了地震來臨前的一些不正常的自然現(xiàn)象及動(dòng)物的反常表現(xiàn);地震的來勢洶洶并在頃刻間將整座城市夷為平地;震后人們勇敢面對現(xiàn)實(shí)并及時(shí)實(shí)施搶救和重建工作。本課詞匯量大,并運(yùn)用了大量的動(dòng)詞,使得描寫更為生動(dòng),
3、文中還有不少復(fù)雜的數(shù)字,這又增加了文章的閱讀難度,另外文章中出現(xiàn)了許多定語從句,對學(xué)生的語言閱讀能力提出了更高的要求。2教學(xué)目標(biāo)英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)教學(xué)目標(biāo)知識(shí)目標(biāo)1初步掌握與地震等災(zāi)害和事故相關(guān)詞匯,理解、內(nèi)化、運(yùn)用課本31個(gè)生詞、12個(gè)詞組,以及相關(guān)句型與語法。2了解地震情況,學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)數(shù)量的表達(dá)方式,了解反復(fù)、夸張和明喻等修辭方式的作用。語言技能培養(yǎng)閱讀微技能訓(xùn)練:查讀,略讀,跳讀,尋讀等功能;著重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生略讀和查讀的快速閱讀技巧;提高學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)語言知識(shí)描述地震前兆、危害及震后援救的能力。學(xué)習(xí)策略培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源搜索有關(guān)地震等相關(guān)自然災(zāi)害信息的自主學(xué)習(xí)策略及有效合作與交際策略。情感態(tài)度通
4、過自主學(xué)習(xí)和合作學(xué)習(xí),激發(fā)學(xué)生自主探究的興趣和熱情,體會(huì)“以人為本”的精神實(shí)質(zhì),培養(yǎng)團(tuán)結(jié)互助精神,學(xué)習(xí)唐山人民勇敢面對災(zāi)害,積極進(jìn)行災(zāi)害重建的精神。文化意識(shí)了解地震等重大災(zāi)害的信息以及相應(yīng)的措施,提高災(zāi)害預(yù)防和自我保護(hù)意識(shí)。三、學(xué)情分析我校屬于省級重點(diǎn)中學(xué),學(xué)生都是由市區(qū)各所中學(xué)經(jīng)過中考選拔上來的,中考分?jǐn)?shù)雖不錯(cuò),但英語水平參差不齊。經(jīng)過問卷調(diào)查,我班(一個(gè)B層班和一個(gè)C層班)喜歡英語并且有信心學(xué)好英語的學(xué)生占了63%,28%的學(xué)生不喜歡英語。究其原因,主要是舊的教學(xué)方法與考試評價(jià)體系嚴(yán)重挫傷學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和自信心。一個(gè)多月的實(shí)踐摸索后,我發(fā)現(xiàn)我的學(xué)生思維活躍,他們許多人有自己的觀點(diǎn)和看法,
5、敢于提出不同見解,樂于組間交流,喜歡即時(shí)評價(jià)。在英語學(xué)習(xí)上,他們希望能學(xué)到知識(shí)性和趣味性兼有的內(nèi)容,渴望從英語學(xué)習(xí)中獲得更多的知識(shí)和能力?;诖朔治?,課外,我把學(xué)生分成三個(gè)大組,確定組長及成員,并分別布置學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù),要求學(xué)生分工合作,收集有關(guān)資料,整理后在課堂上匯報(bào)。如組1負(fù)責(zé)收集各類災(zāi)難圖片,找出相應(yīng)英文名字。組二負(fù)責(zé)收集有關(guān)地震的前兆現(xiàn)象及相應(yīng)圖片。組三收集震后(如汶川地震)的摧毀情況及相應(yīng)圖片。課內(nèi),按座位,將學(xué)生分成六人合作組,相互學(xué)習(xí)、交流,以此激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣,讓學(xué)生互動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí),主動(dòng)探索。 四、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn):重點(diǎn): 1讓學(xué)生掌握本篇文章中的單詞,詞組以及重要表達(dá)。2.訓(xùn)練學(xué)生閱讀能力。3
6、.幫助學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)合作。難點(diǎn): 運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)表達(dá)自己的想法; 如何就課文內(nèi)容展開話題討論;如何能把課文的內(nèi)容延伸與拓展;指導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過各種渠道如報(bào)紙、雜志、圖書館和網(wǎng)絡(luò)等資源查找有關(guān)素材,培養(yǎng)其收集查找資料的能力。 五、教學(xué)方法 根據(jù)對教材及學(xué)情的分析,依托當(dāng)前教學(xué)改革,課程改革等先進(jìn)理念,我認(rèn)為,閱讀中,教師可以把圖式理論引進(jìn)教學(xué)中,所謂圖式理論就是學(xué)生必須具備足夠的背景知識(shí),才能理解作者在文章中所表達(dá)的內(nèi)涵。此處所指的背景知識(shí)就是指對作者利用文字所表示的具體事例背景的了解,背景知識(shí)越豐富,理解能力就越強(qiáng)烈。我的學(xué)生沒有親身體驗(yàn)地震,沒有更多相關(guān)背景知識(shí),因此為達(dá)成上述教學(xué)目標(biāo),我準(zhǔn)備采用圖式教學(xué)
7、模式(如圖所示):圖式閱讀模式提供背景,填補(bǔ)信息瀏覽語篇,初步理解小組討論,建構(gòu)圖式運(yùn)用圖式,加工語篇探究意識(shí)創(chuàng)造能力略讀尋讀閱讀前閱讀后閱讀中 六、教學(xué)工具: Blackboard, computer-assisted teaching (multimedia),projector,七、教學(xué)時(shí)間:45 分鐘八、教學(xué)過程Step 1 :Lead-inStep 2: Pre-reading(提供背景,補(bǔ)充信息)1利用頭腦風(fēng)暴的形式,讓組一學(xué)生說出災(zāi)難詞匯?;脽羝@示詞匯,每個(gè)災(zāi)難詞匯分別與下列圖片做好鏈接。(組一展示圖片)disasters volcano fire sandstorm typh

Many people died and were injured, but some survivors were rescued by soldiers.【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】播放視頻目的是為了引起學(xué)生的共鳴并激發(fā)其想象的空間,教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生注意觀察地震發(fā)生時(shí)的情況;教師通過學(xué)生的圖片展示,不斷引出詞匯,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生大膽描述當(dāng)時(shí)的情景,盡快讓學(xué)生建立
11、與課文對應(yīng)的背景知識(shí),在描述的過程當(dāng)中使用課文中涉及到的詞匯或者短語,并對生詞要加重語氣,這樣學(xué)生可以通過畫面和教師言語之間建立聯(lián)系,為之后的閱讀活動(dòng)做鋪墊。4.標(biāo)題預(yù)測 What kind of information does the author try to tell us through the title ?
