1、British Family Life, Character and CustomsPart 2Meals and DrinksBreakfast is eaten at varying times in the morning.It was traditionally a big meal called a Cooked Breakfast or English BreakfastToday, people have a light breakfast called a continental breakfast. Consists of a few of the following; fr

2、uit juice, croissant, fruit, bread and cereal.LunchThe midday meal.Usually eaten between 12:00 and 14:00Most adults will only have a 30 minute lunch.It is usually a light meal consisting of a sandwich or a salad. 4、s with a Yorkshire pudding.Eating OutIt is customary to tip your waiter/waitress at the end of the meal (approx 10%). 21、 four great world tennis championships and the only one which is played on grass.Notting Hill CarnivalThe last weekend in August.Takes place in Notting Hill.People dress up in fabulous costumes.Steel bands play African and Caribbean music.Harvest FestivalsIn September.A Christian festival.It was hel
