1、外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)院中級(jí)口語(yǔ)1教學(xué)大綱一、 課程性質(zhì)中級(jí)口語(yǔ)1是英語(yǔ)專業(yè)本科二年級(jí)學(xué)生第一學(xué)期開設(shè)的一門英語(yǔ)專業(yè)技能課程,是英語(yǔ)專業(yè)的一門專業(yè)必修課,旨在通過(guò)課堂內(nèi)外的英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)操練,提高學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力。為本專業(yè)其他課程和高年級(jí)專業(yè)課的學(xué)習(xí)奠定語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)的一門課程。二、課程教學(xué)目標(biāo)和任務(wù):英語(yǔ)專業(yè)二年級(jí)的口語(yǔ)課,旨在對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行循序漸進(jìn)、全面系統(tǒng)的口語(yǔ)訓(xùn)練,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生具備較強(qiáng)的語(yǔ)用能力,即把語(yǔ)言放在交際中去運(yùn)用和理解。使學(xué)生能就所聽到的語(yǔ)段進(jìn)行問(wèn)答和復(fù)述,能就日常生活話題進(jìn)行交談,做到正確表達(dá)思想,語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)自然、無(wú)重大語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤,語(yǔ)言基本得體。本課程主要進(jìn)行英語(yǔ)演講及戲劇表演的訓(xùn)練,是學(xué)生能比較系統(tǒng)、連貫地

2、發(fā)表自己的見解。本課程的教學(xué)內(nèi)容廣泛,既涉及英美國(guó)家社會(huì)生活的各個(gè)方面,也包括了時(shí)下流行于大學(xué)生中的熱門話題,包括教育、聚會(huì)、寵物、健身、互聯(lián)網(wǎng)、旅行、金錢、文化、愛(ài)情等。通過(guò)對(duì)以上話題的討論,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在進(jìn)行演講,發(fā)表自己的觀點(diǎn)和看法,從而不斷提高英語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。 三、課程教學(xué)的基本要求中級(jí)口語(yǔ)1列入學(xué)校的教學(xué)計(jì)劃,成績(jī)記入學(xué)生的檔案,按照高等學(xué)校英語(yǔ)專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段英語(yǔ)教學(xué)大綱及本學(xué)院對(duì)大學(xué)生的教學(xué),考核的有關(guān)規(guī)定,嚴(yán)格考核制度。中級(jí)口語(yǔ)1教學(xué)時(shí)數(shù)為34學(xué)時(shí)。教學(xué)內(nèi)容在編排上遵循了語(yǔ)言材料的真實(shí)性和多樣性原則,注重語(yǔ)言真實(shí)地道、體裁豐富多樣。在此基礎(chǔ)上,特別強(qiáng)調(diào)教學(xué)內(nèi)容的趣味性,以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興

3、趣。在教學(xué)安排上,以“聽讀導(dǎo)入,口語(yǔ)為本”作為指導(dǎo)原則,通過(guò)讓學(xué)生接觸大量的聽力和閱讀材料,展開討論,進(jìn)行演講訓(xùn)練,使他們開展有意義的口語(yǔ)訓(xùn)練,從而有效地提高他們的英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)水平。具體要求如下:1. 注重語(yǔ)言輸入,加強(qiáng)基本功訓(xùn)練本課程的基本教學(xué)方法是通過(guò)讓學(xué)生接觸大量的視聽及文字材料,增加語(yǔ)言輸入,然后經(jīng)過(guò)模仿、訓(xùn)練達(dá)到對(duì)語(yǔ)言的自由運(yùn)用。在教學(xué)過(guò)程中應(yīng)著重語(yǔ)言基本功的訓(xùn)練,如語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)、朗讀、復(fù)述等。針對(duì)語(yǔ)言功能項(xiàng)目中常用句型要進(jìn)行嚴(yán)格的訓(xùn)練,以打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。2. 注重語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力的培養(yǎng)語(yǔ)言是交際的工具,本課程旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行交際的能力。在教學(xué)中,要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行大量的口語(yǔ)實(shí)踐。教學(xué)活動(dòng)要

4、有利于語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力的培養(yǎng);交際能力和連貫表達(dá)能力的培養(yǎng)應(yīng)并重。3. 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的跨文化交際意識(shí)語(yǔ)言是文化交流的媒介,交際過(guò)程無(wú)時(shí)無(wú)刻不體現(xiàn)著文化之間的差異。如果缺乏這方面的知識(shí),說(shuō)話往往會(huì)不得體。語(yǔ)言不得體比不正確的語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)、語(yǔ)法更容易導(dǎo)致誤解的產(chǎn)生。教師應(yīng)幫助學(xué)生了解主要英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的文化背景和生活習(xí)俗。因此在教學(xué)中要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的社會(huì)、文化習(xí)俗,理解交際過(guò)程中眾多因素(如:場(chǎng)景、功能、意念、性別、社會(huì)、心理、風(fēng)格、情感)與語(yǔ)言得體性的關(guān)系,使其掌握正確、得體的表達(dá)方式。4. 積極開展課外活動(dòng)口語(yǔ)能力的提高需要大量、反復(fù)的實(shí)踐,僅靠口語(yǔ)課上的訓(xùn)練是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。要搞好英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)課的教學(xué),不能

5、局限于課內(nèi)輔導(dǎo),還要?jiǎng)?chuàng)造條件引導(dǎo)學(xué)生開展豐富多彩的英語(yǔ)課外活動(dòng),以便提高學(xué)生參加口語(yǔ)練習(xí)的興趣和積極性。通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)小組、英語(yǔ)角、英語(yǔ)演講賽、英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽、英語(yǔ)辯論、課外調(diào)查研究等形式多樣的課外活動(dòng),使學(xué)生有更多的運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的機(jī)會(huì)。在教學(xué)中,要根據(jù)學(xué)生的具體情況采取相應(yīng)的教學(xué)方法。教師應(yīng)有高度的事業(yè)心和責(zé)任感,充分發(fā)揮自己的主動(dòng)性和創(chuàng)造性,針對(duì)不同教學(xué)對(duì)象,充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性和主動(dòng)性,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的獨(dú)立工作能力。四、課程教學(xué)內(nèi)容Speak with Confidence (Book 3)Unit 1 Speaking to Develop Self-confidence (2 hours)I.
