1、部分倒裝用法規(guī)則-部分倒裝的形式1. 否定副詞位于句首時的倒裝在正式文體中，never, seldom, rarely, little, hardly, scarcely, no sooner, no longer, nowhere 等含有否定意義的副詞若位于句首，則其后要用部分倒裝：I shall never forgive him. / Never shall I forgive him. 我永遠不會寬恕他。He seldom goes out for dinner. / Seldom does he go out for dinner. 他很少出去吃飯。She hardly has ti

2、me to listen to music. / Hardly does she have time to listen to music. 她幾乎沒時間聽音樂。He little realizes how important this meeting is. / Little does he realize how important this meeting is. 他不甚明白這個會議的重要性。We had no sooner reached the airport than the plane took off. / No sooner had we reached the airpor

3、t than the plane took off. 我們剛到機場,飛機就起飛了。在出現(xiàn)以下情況時，需要使用部分倒裝：情況一：only修飾的狀語（副詞、介詞短語或狀語從句）位于句首；如：Only after three operations was he able to walk.做過三次手術(shù)之后，他才能行走。值得注意的是，當only修飾主語時，則不倒裝。如：Only that girl knew how to work out the problem.只有那位女生知道怎樣解那道題。情況二：含有否定意義的副詞（never, seldom, little, few, not, nowhere等）

4、位于句首；如：Seldom in all my life have l met such a brave man.我一生很少見過這么勇敢的人。Little did he realize the danger he faced.他幾乎沒有認識到他面臨的危險。情況三：so/neither/nor開頭的句子，說明前面的內(nèi)容也適用于后者時，用倒裝句“so/neither/nor+be/have/助動詞情態(tài)動詞主語”。如：John cant speak Japanese, nor can Helen.約翰不會講日語，海倫也不會。情況四：not only.(but also).位于句首引導兩個分句時，前一

5、個分句中的主謂要采用部分倒裝，第二個分句則不倒裝。如：Not only does he teach in school, but he writes novels.他不但在學校教書，而且還寫小說。部分倒裝（Partial Inversion），又稱半倒裝句，指將謂語的一部分如助動詞或情態(tài)動詞倒裝至主語之前，而謂語動詞不發(fā)生變化。在許多特定的句型中經(jīng)常需要使用部分倒裝，因此部分倒裝的適用情況要多于完全倒裝，需要著重記憶?！咀⒁狻?1) 對于notuntil句型，當not until位于句首時，其后的主句要用倒裝語序：He didnt leave the room until the rain s

6、topped. / Not until the rain stopped did he leave the room. 雨停了之后他才離開這房間。(2) 某些起副詞作用的介詞短語，由于含有否定詞，若位于句首，其后要用部分倒裝：On no accounts must this switch be touched. 這個開關(guān)是絕不能觸摸的。In Under no circumstances will I lend money to him.無論如何我也不會再借錢給他了。但是，in no time(立即，馬上)位于句首時，其后無需用倒裝語序：In no time he worked out the

7、problem. 他馬上就算出了那道題。2.“only+狀語”位于句首時的倒裝當一個狀語受副詞only的修飾且置于句首時，其后用部分倒裝語序：Only then did he realize that he was wrong. 到那時他才意識到他錯了。Only in this way are you able to do it well. 你只有用這種方法才能把它做好。Only when he returned home did he realize what had happened. 當他回到家里時，才知道出了什么事。3. “so+adj. / adv.”位于句首時的倒裝副詞so后接形容

8、詞或副詞位于句首時，其后用部分倒裝：So cold was the weather that we had to stay at home. 天氣太冷，我們只好呆在家里。So fast does light travel that we can hardly imagine its speed. 光速很快，我們幾乎沒法想像它的速度。So sudden was the attack that we had no time to escape. 襲擊來得非常突然，我們來不及逃跑。4.“so+助動詞+主語”倒裝當要表示前面提出的某一肯定的情況也同樣適合于后者，通常就要用“So+助動詞+主語”這種倒裝
