1、XX外國語學院大學英語精讀II教學大綱一、教學對象本大綱的教學對象是非英語專業(yè)的職高學生。入校時，他們應已掌握 基本的英語語音和語法知識，領會式掌握單詞并在讀、聽、說等方面受過 初步訓練。二、課程基本目的能讀懂語言難度中等的一般性題材的文章，學會基本的閱讀技能。全 面提高學生的聽，說，讀，寫，譯的基本技能的陪養(yǎng)。使各種語言技能綜 合開展，相輔相成，互相促進。使學生打下扎實的語言基礎，掌握良好的 語言學習方法，提高文化素質(zhì)，以適應社會開展和經(jīng)濟建設的需要。三、教學方式教學方式是以課堂教學為主。課堂教學不僅要擴大學生的語言知識， 加強和提高學生的語言運用能力，還要幫助學生養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣，培 養(yǎng)

6、、推理和判斷。4、說的能力能就教材內(nèi)容和一般性的聽力材料進行回答和討論，能就一般的社會 生活話題進行簡單的交談討論和發(fā)言，表達思想清楚，語音、語調(diào)基本正 確。5、寫的能力能在閱讀難度與課文相仿的書面材料時做筆記、回答下列問題，能就一定 的提綱、表格或圖示在半小時內(nèi)寫出80-100字的短文。內(nèi)容完整，條理 清楚，文理通順。6、譯的能力能借助詞典將難度略低于課文的英語短文譯成漢語，理解正確，譯文 達意。能借助詞典將內(nèi)容熟悉的漢語文字材料譯成英語，譯文達意，無重 大語言錯誤。五、教學學時大學英語精讀n總學時為54課時，每周為3課時。六、教學內(nèi)容大學英語精讀教材第二冊共有十個單元。每個單元由課文、生詞

7、、 注釋、練習和閱讀五局部組成。課文全部選用原文材料，題材多樣，內(nèi)容 豐富有趣，有一定的啟發(fā)性。生詞釋義采用英漢結(jié)合方式。一般情況下， 盡可能用英語釋義。不太明確的再加注漢語，難以用英語解釋清楚的那么直 接用漢語釋義。注釋盡量用淺近的英語，主要介紹有關的背景知識，說明一些特殊語 言現(xiàn)象，供學生預習時參考。本冊的練習包括朗讀和背誦(Reading Aloud and Memorizing)、課文理解(Comprehension of the Text)、詞匯 (Vocabulary)、構(gòu)詞(Word Building)、結(jié)構(gòu)(Structure)、完形填 空(Cloze)和翻譯(Translat

8、ion)等局部。朗讀和背誦練習主要要求學 生掌握句重音和意群，并熟記課文中有關段落。課文理解練習要求學生根 據(jù)課文回答下列問題，有的那么要求學生陳述自己的看法；有條件的班級可用一 定的時間在教師引導下進行討論，以提高學生的口頭表達能力。詞匯練習 旨在鞏固課文中所學的常用詞和詞組的用法。構(gòu)詞練習學生熟悉現(xiàn)代英語 中的主要構(gòu)詞法，熟練掌握一些常用的前綴、后綴，借以擴大詞匯量。結(jié) 構(gòu)練習的目的是使學生掌握一些英語常用句型，以提高學生的表達能力。 完形填空練習是一種綜合性的練習，分A、B、兩篇。前者根據(jù)課文寫成， 主要圍繞該科重點詞和詞組做語篇水平的操練；后者選自課外的文章。這 一練習有一定難度，需要

9、有教師予以啟發(fā)引導。翻譯聯(lián)系每單元安排八句 漢譯英，可作為課外書面作業(yè)。閱讀練習旨在培養(yǎng)學生的閱讀技能，每一(或二)單元編列一項技能, 并配有一篇內(nèi)容與課文相近而難度較淺的閱讀材料；其中-4級的大綱詞匯加注漢語，放在前面，希望學生盡量掌握。教師應緊扣技能的培養(yǎng)，不必在語言現(xiàn)象的分析上花太多時間。新增的科普閱讀文章(SupplementaryReading in Popular Science)主要供學生自學。七、課程考核方式大學英語精讀II考核方式為考試。其中平時成績占40% (包括出勤率、課堂表現(xiàn)、回答下列問題、作業(yè))，期末考試成績占60%。八、每單元具體掌握重點UNIT ONENew wo
