Hackers targeted Sonys PlayStation Network, Sony Online Entertainment and music sy

2、stems. In all, Sony says information may have been stolen from more than one hundred million accounts.The data includes information like names, addresses, phone numbers and birthdates. In some cases, even credit and debit card numbers may have been stolen.The United States Federal Bureau of Investig

3、ation is looking into the cyber attacks.Sony shut down its PlayStation Network on April twentieth. The company is being criticized for not telling its users about the stolen information until a week later. Sony has also been criticized for not making its accounts more secure by encrypting the data.

A new study shows that early treatment greatly reduces the risk that the partner of an infected person will also get infected. HIV is the virus that causes AIDThe study took place in Botswana, Brazil, India,

14、Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Thailand, the United States and Zimbabwe. It involved almost two thousand couples divided into two groups.In one group, the infected man or woman began to take a combination of three antiretroviral drugs immediately after being found to have HIV. In the other group, the

15、infected partners began drug treatment only when they started to show signs of getting AIDS.The researchers say both groups received equal amounts of HIV-related care and counseling. That included information about safe sex practices, free condoms and regular HIV testing.The study began in two thous

16、and five. It was supposed to last until twenty-fifteen. But researchers stopped it early because the results were so clear. The lead researcher says that the animals may have evolved ways

21、of protecting their retinas against the kind of extreme exposure to UV light common in the Arctic. Heres Neil Bowdler.Bees, bats and rodents, to name but a few ,can see what humans cant - ultraviolet light. This international team wanted to see whether Arctic reindeer could too, and so subjected the

22、 animal to various optical tests. What they found was that reindeer do indeed have UV vision. The researchers suggest they might use this power to pick out food and predators in the white-out of the Arctic winter and the twilight of the spring and autumn. Other specialists in the field even suggest
