2、t closer to them. The conversation is about two girls talking about animals in danger, including what animals are in danger, why animals are in danger and how to protect animals in danger. This is the first lesson of this module, mainly focusing on the listening and speaking and learning the reasons
3、 of animals in danger and the ways to protect animals in danger. The analysis of learning conditionThe students are from Grade 2 in the middle school. Students had learnt some animals before, and most of them know some animals in danger, so they are familiar with the topic. But they may not know why
4、 animals are in danger and how to protect animals in danger before. Moreover, their vocabulary is limited so they may have difficulties in speaking some sentences to help animals in danger.Learning objectives1. Language skillsAt the end of this class, students should be able to understand the conver
5、sation about animals in danger; Students should be able to make a prediction before listening, listen for specific information and write down the first letter while they are listening.Students should be able to talk about animals in danger, using infinitive structures.2. 6、ter the key words and phrases of the passage as follows, need to do sth.Ss can learn some grammar, especially infinitives structures.3. The many activities are designed to help Ss to train their listening and speaking skills, such as predicting, writing down the first letter and discussing in group.It is also important for
9、the Ss to master the infinitive structures.Anticipated difficultiesAs the Ss have limited vocabulary, so they may have some difficulties in speaking about why animals are in danger and how to protect animals in danger. So the teacher will give them some pictures with key words to help them express.T

Play a guessing gameT shows some cards about animals and students choose one to describe, then other students guess “whats it?”Use a mind map to learn more animals and
12、answer “ what do you think of animals?”Aims In this step, T uses the game to let students describe and guess animals which are familiar to them, use mind map to help students remember words, then students answer “ what do you think of animals?” These three activities aim to activate their old knowle
13、dge of animals and awaken their feeling for animals.Step2. Pre-listening Activity1.
