nyournetworkconnecttotheInternetviayourgatewayrouter.YoucanfindyourcurrentWANIPaddressbycheckingyourrouter’sstatuspage.AlsotherearevariouswebsitessuchaswillhelpyoufindyourcurrentIPaddress.ThetermgatewayisusedgenericallytomeanthedevicethatconnectsalocalMosta.6.2have6.3AlltheTCP/IP(internetnetworksareusingsoftwareporttoconnectwitheachother.Theportcanbeconsideredaschannelsoftelevision.Defaultallthewebsitesarethroughthechannel80(port,thewebsitesandtheimagescanbesentviatheport80toyourbrowserbyVS-IPC1002.Thereforethischannel(portcanreceivedthevisitingapplicationwithouttheencumbrancefromyourrouter/firewall.YoucanvisitVS-IPC1002fromtheexternalnetworkandthosetwoportshavetotransmittingorredirectingontheLANIPaddressportbyyourgatewayrouter.Thusthesettingsoftwareofyourrouterhastopossessingtransmissionorredirectingfunction.Beforesettingupportforwarding,it’sbesttoconfigureyourVS-IPC1002touseastaticLANIPsinceyourportforwardingsetupwillneedtobeupdatedifthecamera’sLANIPaddresseschanges.6.4DefaultGatewaycorrectrequesttocorrespondcamera.Allthewebsitesrequestswillbesenttoport80bybrowserifthedefaultsettingdoesnotchange.Howevertheport80transmittherequesttooneLANIPaddressonly,thereforeallthewebsitesrequestsontheport80willsendtothataddress.Thesolutionofthisproblemistosetuptherouter,assignadifferentportnumbertoeachcamera.Forexample,youmaysetupyoursecondcameratouseport81.Whenyouwanttoaccessthiscamera,youwouldtellyourbrowsertouseport81,insteadofport80.Inyourrouter’sportforwardingsetup,youwouldneedtoNote:ForwardingportstoyourcameradoesnotposeanyadditionalsecurityrisktoyourLAN.forwardport81totheLANIPaddressofthesecondcamera.Webpagerequestsarrivingatport81willautomaticallybedirectedtothesecondcamera’saddress.Toinstructyourbrowsertouseadifferentport,otherthan80,toaccessawebpage,youwouldaddtheportnumberattheendoftheIPaddressorURL,separatedbyacolon.Forexample,toaccessacameraonport81ifyourWANIPaddressis1,youwouldenterhttp://1:81intoyourbrowser’saddressbar.Youca
