常見(jiàn)的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞有:can(could),may(might),must,shall(should),will(would),dare(dared),need等,另外,haveto、hadbetter也當(dāng)作情態(tài)動(dòng)詞使用。 1、can和beableto1)can/could表示能力;可能(過(guò)去時(shí)用could),只用于現(xiàn)在式和過(guò)去式(could)。 例如:HewasabletofleeEuropebeforethewarbrokeout.=HemanagedtofleeEuropebeforethewarbrokeout. Yes,youcan./No,youcan't. 注意:might表示推測(cè)時(shí),不表示時(shí)態(tài),只是可能性比may小。 Hehadtolookafterhissisteryesterday. Youmustn'ttellhimaboutit. Youhaveworkedhardallday.Youmustbetired. Hemuststaythere. Theyshouldbetherebynow,Ithink. Itisprettycold.You'dbetterputonmycoat. She'dbetternotplaywiththedog. 7、wouldrather表示"寧愿"wouldratherdowouldrathernotdowouldrather…than… Iwouldratherstayherethangohome.=Iwouldstayhereratherthangohome. 3)否定結(jié)構(gòu)中用will,一般不用would,won'tyou是一種委婉語(yǔ)氣。Won'tyousitdown? Yes,Imust./No,Ineedn't. Needyou…?Yes,Imust.No,Ineedn'tMustyou…?No,Idon'thaveto.10、帶to的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞帶to的情態(tài)動(dòng)詞有:oughtto,haveto,usedto,它們的疑問(wèn)、否定形式應(yīng)予以注意:Dotheyhavetopaytheirbillbeforetheendofthemonth? Shedidn'tusetoplaytennisbeforeshewasfourteen. Yououghtnottohavetoldherallaboutit. 净A(chǔ)練習(xí)】()1.MayItakethisbookout?
