賓語從句(nounclausesastheobject)

一個句子用作另一個句子的賓語,我們將這個句子叫做賓語從句,賓語從句在句中常作及物動詞或介詞(如except,but,besides等)的賓語。如:

Iknownothingaboutherexceptthatsheisagirl.

我只知道她是個女孩。

ShesaysthatshewillflytoJapaninaweek.

她說她一周后要飛日本。很多動詞如say,think,wish,hope,see,believe,agree,expect,hear,feel等動詞后??筛蓆hat引導(dǎo)的陳述句性的賓語從句。連詞that只起連接作用,在從句中不做句子的成分,也無詞匯意義,在口語中常省略。如:

Itoldhimthathewaswrong.

(1)主句的謂語是make,find,see,hear等,且?guī)в袕?fù)合賓語時,可把賓語從句置于賓補之后,用it作形式賓語。如:1.that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

連詞if/whether(“是否……”)也可引導(dǎo)一個賓語從句。Whether,if在從句中不做句子成分,一般情況下whether和if可以替換。如:

Idon’tknowif/whetherhewillcometomorrow.

Theteacheraskedif/whetherwehadfinishedtheexperiment.

注意:介詞后面的賓語從句中不用if引導(dǎo)。如:

Everythingdependsonwhetherwehaveenoughmoney。3.wh-引導(dǎo)的賓語從句

連接代詞who,whom,whose,what,which,和連接副詞when,where,why,how等也可常用來連接賓語從句,它們在句中既連接賓語從句,又在句子中充當(dāng)一定的句子的成分。如:

Doyouknowwhichfilmtheyaretalkingabout?(which做定語)

Idon’tknowwherehelives.(where做地點狀語)

賓語從句的時態(tài)受主句時態(tài)的限制,主句是一般現(xiàn)在時,從句根據(jù)實際情況而定。主句是一般過去時,從句用相應(yīng)的表示過去的時態(tài)。如果從句的動作發(fā)生在主句之前,則從句要用過去完成時。如:4.賓語從句的時態(tài)特征Shesaysthatsheisastudent.Shesaidthatshewasastudent.ShesaysthatshewillflytoJapaninaweek.ShesaidthatshewouldflytoJapaninaweek.Shesaysthatshehasfinishedherhomeworkalready.Shesaidthatshehadfinishedherhomeworkalready.ShesaysthatshecansingasonginEnglish.ShesaidthatshecouldsingasonginEnglish.

注意:如果賓語從句說的是客觀真理、自然現(xiàn)象或事實時,這時賓語從句要用一般現(xiàn)在時。如:

在賓語從句中,當(dāng)引導(dǎo)詞為wh-類型的連接代詞與連接副詞時,賓語從句的語序必須是陳述語序,切忌和特殊疑問句的語序混淆。其語序為:

連接詞+主語+謂語+其他成分

Idon’tknowwhatIshouldsay.

HeaskedmewhenIwasateacher.

Theywantedtoknowhowtheycandoforus.表語從句(nounclausesasthepredicative)語法特征:1.連接詞:1)從屬連詞:

that,whetherThereasonwhyshehasn'tcomeisthatshehasgotafever.她沒來是因為她發(fā)燒了。

Thequestioniswhethertheworkisworthdoing.問題是這項工作值不值得做。2)連接代詞:what,which,who,whom,whoseThisiswhatIwanttosay.這就是我想說的。在復(fù)合句中用作表語的從句稱為表語從句。2.位置:一般放在連系動詞be之后。3.注意:表語從句中的從屬連詞that不可省略;if一般不用來引導(dǎo)表語從句。3)連接副詞:when,where,how,whyThisishowweovercomethedifficulties.
