Grammerschool:ItisatypeofsecondaryschoolsinBritain.

Theseschoolslayemphasisonadvancedacademicsubjectsratherthanthemoregeneralcurriculumofthecomprehensiveschoolsandexpectmanyoftheirpupilstogoontouniversities.

Comprehensiveschool:Suchschoolsadmitchildrenwithoutreferencetotheiracademicabilitiesandprovideageneraleducation.Pupilscanstudyeverythingfromacademicsubjectslikeliteraturetomorepracticalsubjectslikecooking.

AsapartofitsNATOcommitments,theBritishhostalargeAmericanmilitarypresence.Thereare63AmericanmilitarybasesinBritain.

7.Americanforeignpolicyduringthesecondperiod(EngagementandExpansion)TheClintonAdministrationmadenationalsecurity,economicprosperityandpromotionofdemocracythethreepillarsoftheAmericanforeignpolicy.

Itsnationalstrategywasengagementandexpansion,whichmeanstheUSwilltakeamoreactivepartinworldaffairsandwillmoreactivelypromotemarketeconomyandAmericanstyledemocracyintheworld.
