(theother=theother+單數(shù)名詞)theother后接可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)=theothers特指整體中除一部份外剩余的全數(shù)。⑶others特指某一范圍內(nèi)的人或物除去一些外,剩下部份中的另一些(不是全數(shù))。常常組成:some...some...,others...Someofuslikesinginganddancing,somelikesports,otherslikeplayingcards.有時也泛指其他的人或物:Wemusthelpothers.(咱們必需幫忙他人。)⑷theothers特指整體中除一部份外,剩下的全數(shù)。theothers=theother+復(fù)數(shù)名詞Twoboyswillgotothezoo,andtheotherswillstayathome.⑸another泛指同類事物中(三者或三者以上或數(shù)量不明)另一個。常常組成:one...another...,another... (another=another+單數(shù)名詞)Idon'tlikethisone.Pleaseshowmeanother.★表示“再、又,還”時:another+基數(shù)詞+名詞復(fù)數(shù)=基數(shù)詞+more+名詞復(fù)I'llbehereforanothertwoweeks/twomoreweeks.含有way的短語inthewayof防礙……inacertainway按必然的方式ina/someway(s)在某方面,在某種程度(意義)上,以某種方式bytheway順便說一下ontheway(to..)在(去……)的路上gooutofone'sway額外盡力preventsb.(from)doingsth.二stopsb.(from)doingsth.=keepsb.fromdoingsth.阻止某人干某事★keepsb.doing讓某人一直做某事receive收到;接到(被動)accept同意;接納(主動)Hereceivedthepresent,buthedidn'tacceptit.他收到了禮物,但沒有同意。語法回憶情態(tài)動詞的推測用法must只用在確信句中,表示超級有把握的確信推測。意思是“確信,必然”ThatbookmustbeMei's,becausehernameisonit.can要緊用在否定句,表示超級有把握的否定推測。意思是“不可能”。can'tbeinhisoffice.另外can還可用在疑問句中表推測,一樣表示說話人的驚異,疑心,不相信等Canitbetrue Whatcanhemeancould雖是can的過去式,但并非表示過去的時刻。只表示推測時語氣加倍不確信??捎迷诖_信句,否定句,和疑問句中。Thepersoncan'tbeMr.Smith. Thepersoncouldn'tbeMr.Smith.⑷may/might表推測要緊用在確信句,否定句中(5)情態(tài)動詞對不同時刻的推測情態(tài)動詞+動詞原形 對此刻或以后的狀況推測MrWangmustbeinhisoffice.情態(tài)動詞+have+過去分詞 對過去的狀況推測Ithinksomebodymusthavepickeditup情態(tài)動詞+be+此刻分詞對正在發(fā)生的狀況推測Imustbedreaming.情態(tài)動詞的其它用法:can表示此刻的“能力”指體力和腦力方面的能力,或依照客觀條件能做某種動作的“能力”CanyouspeakEnglishIcan'tmakeacake.could是can的過去式,表示過去的能力Shecouldn’tskatewhenshewasfiveyearsold.can/may/could/might表請求.could/might別離是can/may的過去式,但他們并非表過去,只是表示請求時語氣客氣和委婉,用于疑問句中。Can/May/Could/MightIspeaktoMr.Smith用于表示“命令”意思是“必需”用于表示說話人主觀愿望、征求意見和請求許可Youmustrespectyourparents.Imustworkhardtomakeourdreamcometrue.
