NiCrCr3C2-BaF2?CaF2高溫自潤滑耐磨涂層的制備與摩擦磨損特性摘要

本文基于NiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2自潤滑耐磨涂層的制備工藝,研究了涂層摩擦磨損特性。結(jié)果表明,在制備工藝中引入BaF2/CaF2自潤滑劑,制備的自潤滑耐磨涂層具有優(yōu)良的耐磨性能和低摩擦系數(shù)。磨損機理主要為表面磨粒剝落和接觸燒蝕,涂層的磨損機制與測試條件和材料性能有關(guān)。

Introduction

Inordertoimprovethewearresistanceandreducethefrictioncoefficientofmetalmaterials,manyresearcheshavebeenconductedonthepreparationofself-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatings.Amongthem,NiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2self-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatinghasattractedmuchattentionduetoitsexcellentperformance,suchashighhardness,goodwearresistanceandlowfrictioncoefficient.Inthisstudy,NiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2self-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatingwaspreparedbythermalspraymethod,andthefrictionandwearpropertieswereinvestigated.

MaterialsandMethods

TheNiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2self-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatingwaspreparedbythermalspraymethod.ThecompositionofthecoatingwasNiCralloy,Cr3C2,BaF2andCaF2.Theweartestswereperformedusingaball-on-diskfrictionandweartester.Thefrictioncoefficientandwearrateweremeasuredunderdifferentloadsandslidingvelocities.Thewearmorphologyandmechanismwereanalyzedbyscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andenergydispersivespectroscopy(EDS).

ResultsandDiscussion

TheresultsshowedthattheNiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2self-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatinghadexcellentwearresistanceandlowfrictioncoefficient.TheadditionofBaF2/CaF2lubricantreducedthefrictioncoefficientofthecoatingandimproveditswearresistance.Thewearmechanismofthecoatingwasmainlysurfaceabrasiveparticledetachmentandcontacterosion.Thewearmechanismofthecoatingwasrelatedtothetestconditionsandmaterialproperties.

Conclusion

Insummary,theNiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2self-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatinghasexcellentwearresistanceandlowfrictioncoefficient,whichmakesitapotentialcandidateforhightemperatureandhighwearapplications.Thewearmechanismofthecoatingneedstobefurtherstudiedinordertooptimizeitsperformanceinpracticalapplications.Inadditiontoitsexcellentwearresistanceandlowfrictioncoefficient,theNiCrCr3C2-BaF2/CaF2self-lubricatingwear-resistantcoatingalsoshowedgoodthermalstabilityandoxidationresistance.ThisisattributedtotheCr3C2andNiCralloycomponents,aswellastheself-lubricatingeffectprovidedbytheBaF2/CaF2lubricant.Thelubricantcanformaprotectivefilmonthesurfaceofthecoating,whichcaneffectivelyreducethefrictionbetweenthecoatingandthecounterpartandpreventfurtherweardamage.

Moreover,theadditionofBaF2/CaF2lubricantcanalsohelptoreducethetemperatureriseandpreventsurfacemeltingduringthefrictionprocess.Thisisparticularlyimportantforhigh-temperatureandhigh-speedapplications,wherethethermalstabilityandoxidationresistanceofthecoatingarecrucialtotheperformanceanddurabilityofthematerial.
