Virtually,ZhangJiakouwhichwasdividedintosixdistrictsandtwelvecountiesisamedium-sizecitylocatedinthenorthwestofHebeiProvince.So,thetemperatureinwinterisfreezingcold.Itstemperaturewhichisrichlyendowedbynaturemakesitpossibletoconductaseriesoficeactivities.Thus,the2022WinterOlympicGameswillbeheldinBeijing,alsoinmyhometownwhichwasgreetedwith”CityofIceandSnow".Besides,thepositionthatborderswithInnerMongoliamakesithavequiteafewprairies.Ridinghorsesiswhatweareusedtodoing.

ForthemajorityofChinese,theircognitionofthecuisineofChinanorthwestisjustlimitedtoPekingDuckandRoastlambwhichhavealreadybeenfamousthroughoutthecountry.Buthonestlyspeaking,asanauthenticnative,IpreferoatnoodleHoneybwhichwecallit“Youmianwowo”.ItesfromakindofgrainthatoriginallygrowsinthenorthofNorthChinaPlain.WhenIeacrossthisspecialdishintherestaurant,Ialwaysthinkofmygrandma.Shealwaysmakesthisdishallbyhand.Shefirstlyrubsdoughintoslices.Afterthat,sheshapesthemaroundtheindexfinger,andthenfinallymakesthemstandupinthefoodsteamer.Italwaysremindedmeofmyhomesick,especiallywhenthisdishwasservedwitharich,heartymuttonsoup.

ZhangJiakou,alsoknownforabattleamongancestorsofChinesenationnamedYanEmperor,YellowEmperorandChiYouinZhuolu,acountyfilledwiththeearlyChinesecivilization.Inaddition,oneoftheninedefensivecitiesalongtheGreatWallinMingDynastywasinXuanHua,ZhangJiakou.So,itwasnamedby"GreatWallMuseum"aswell,forithasthelargestnumberoftheGreatWallthatisstillexisting.Therefore,ZhangJiakouisahistoriccitythatwasthesourceofChineseNation.Andinrecenttime,duetothespecialmilitarygeographicallocation,myhometownisthenativeplaceofmanyfamouspeople,especiallysomeheroeswhoweredevotedtotheAnti-JapaneseWar.DongCunruiwasoneoftheheroeswhoappliedhimselftotheliberationofourChinesenation.Alltheseimpressivedeedsremindourlocalstolearntheirvaluablespiritandtheirstruggleforourpeacefullife.Butnow,Jing-Jin-JiRegionalCooperationhascaughtlotsoftalentedcharactersandbroughtmyhometownagreatconceptofdevelopment,andI'msurethatZhangJiakouwillgiveusanewimagewiththesignificantcultureandadv
