中考英語閱讀理解題型分析及答題策略

閱讀理解屬于一種綜合運用英語語言知識能力的語篇理解題型。就

紹興市英語學(xué)業(yè)考試而言,占有最多的篇幅(四篇)和最高的分值(三十

分),這還不包括與閱讀能力緊密相關(guān)的完形填空題??梢哉f,在很大程度

上決定了英語考試的成敗。閱讀文章的體裁越來越豐富,包括應(yīng)用文、記

敘文、說明文、議論文以及圖表等,而選材則越來越廣泛,試題的設(shè)置又

越來越靈活化,這就要求英語教師在閱讀教學(xué)中改變那種只講語法和詞句,

不分析全文中心大意,不講背景知識的語言解碼式的教學(xué)模式。教師應(yīng)明

確,要想提高英語教學(xué)水平,就必須擴大學(xué)生的閱讀量,教師教學(xué)的目的

是為了讓學(xué)生把握文章的整體、深入理解文章的含義和作者的意圖。在我

多年的九年級英語教學(xué)實踐中,發(fā)現(xiàn)多數(shù)學(xué)生對做閱讀理解題存在畏難情

緒,總是無從入手。因此,如何提高英語閱讀理解精確度成為廣大教師關(guān)

注的焦點。本文試就中考閱讀理解題型作出分析,并對初中英語閱讀教學(xué)

方法進行探討。

一、中考閱讀理解題型的分析

1.命題依據(jù)

新《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》對初中生在閱讀方面作出了以下要求:能根據(jù)上

下文和構(gòu)詞法推斷、理解生詞的含義;能理解段落中幾個句子之間的邏輯

關(guān)系;能找出文章中的主題,理解故事的情節(jié),預(yù)測故事情節(jié)的發(fā)展和可

能的結(jié)局;能讀懂常見體裁的閱讀材料;能根據(jù)不同的閱讀目的、運用簡

單的閱讀策略獲取信息;能利用字典等工具書進行學(xué)習(xí);除教材外課外閱

讀量應(yīng)累計達15萬字以上。

2.素材特點

綜觀近年來紹興市英語學(xué)業(yè)考試試題,不難發(fā)現(xiàn),考題的選材上更貼

近考生生活,富有濃郁的時代氣息,一份中考英語試題的閱讀部分的題材

往往會包括人物經(jīng)歷(人物傳奇)或事件描述類的記敘文、介紹社會現(xiàn)象

和異域風(fēng)情或現(xiàn)代高科技類的說明文、提供各種信息的應(yīng)用文(廣告),有

時也出現(xiàn)談?wù)摕狳c話題的議論文及表格或圖表等,這也應(yīng)該是中考閱讀理

解試題選取的重要依據(jù),因此,要求中考閱讀素材具有以下特點:(1)文

章主題得當(dāng),對各類考生都公平合理;(2)文章語言地道,條理清晰,結(jié)

構(gòu)緊湊;(3)語言難易適度,生詞量適當(dāng),大約占3%;(4)文章長短適宜;

(5)文章內(nèi)容恰當(dāng);(6)文章自成一體,情境明確,有頭有尾。

3.測試題型

目前選擇題是中考閱讀理解最常用的題型,題干可能是一個問題,也

可能是一個要補全的句子。

4.試題特點

中考閱讀理解在試題的設(shè)置上形式多樣靈活化,不僅有主旨類、細節(jié)

類、還有把握全篇大意、作者意圖或歸納結(jié)論的推斷類。

(1)一篇文章或一個段落都有中心內(nèi)容,這就要求學(xué)生具有概括能力,

掌握所讀材料的主旨和大意??疾齑祟悆?nèi)容的題干通常為:

(2)文章的主旨是靠大量的事實和細節(jié)支持的,了解這些事實和細節(jié)

是理解文章的前提條件之一,所以常常會出現(xiàn)What

happened/Why/How/Wheresomethinghappened等等。

(3)閱讀文章時常常會遇到一些未曾見過的單詞或短語,但通過上下

文往往能判斷該詞在文中的意思,這是閱讀理解能力考察的一項主要內(nèi)容。

有時也可以考查某些熟悉詞匯的生疏詞義乃至通過上下文來推斷句子含

義,如:

(4)理解考查對文章的結(jié)構(gòu)及段與段之間、句與句之間的邏輯關(guān)系的

(5)有時敘述和討論某一問題時作者并不明確給出答案,而是要求讀

者依據(jù)短文內(nèi)容和自身應(yīng)該具備的常識進行推理和判斷,如:

二、應(yīng)對策略

1.夯實閱讀基礎(chǔ),把好詞匯關(guān)口

英國語言學(xué)家威爾金斯曾經(jīng)說過:“沒有語法人們表達的事物寥寥無

幾,而沒有詞匯人們則無法表達任何事物。”因此,要提高閱讀的理解能

力,擁有豐富的詞匯和扎實的語法知識對學(xué)生來說是至關(guān)重要的。大量的

詞匯積累是進行成功閱讀的前提。閱讀能力的高低和詞匯量的大小是分不

開的。目前大部分學(xué)生的詞匯量偏少,這是影響閱讀能力提高的主要因素。

熟練掌握單詞,擴充詞匯量是提高閱讀能力的基礎(chǔ)。我們可以通過以下方

法擴大學(xué)生的詞匯量:(1)注重平時的學(xué)習(xí)與積累。冰凍三尺非一日之寒,

學(xué)生詞匯的積累是一個循序漸進的過程,除了要熟練掌握書本中所出現(xiàn)的

詞匯外,還要記憶在課內(nèi)外的閱讀材料中出現(xiàn)的詞匯,做到經(jīng)常復(fù)習(xí)歸納,

積少成多。(2)掌握一些構(gòu)詞法,這對詞匯的積累可以起到事半功倍的效

果。初中階段學(xué)到的常用構(gòu)詞法有:合成法(Compounding)如worldwide,

good-looking;派生法(Derivation),如加前綴un-,dis-,inter-,tele-,

re-,bi—或后綴一or/er,-ful,-tion,-less,-y,-ing,一ed,-able構(gòu)

成新詞;轉(zhuǎn)化法(Conversion),由一種詞類轉(zhuǎn)換為另一種詞類如

show(n./v.),water(n./v.),slow(adj./v.);縮寫和簡寫(Abbreviation

andSimplification),如advertisement(ad),laboratory(lab)等等。(3)

通過聯(lián)想對比法擴大詞匯量。通過對比法(同義詞、近義詞、反義詞等方

式)來擴大記憶,掌握更多的詞匯。同時,英語語法和習(xí)慣語法也是必不

可少的基本語言知識,語法是語言中的結(jié)構(gòu)關(guān)系,是牢不可破的框架,所

以學(xué)生必須熟練掌握各種語法知識,不然的話,勢必會影響對閱讀材料的

正確理解。

2.教會閱讀方法,掌握閱讀技巧

“授之以魚,不如授之以漁?!痹陂喿x教學(xué)中,要想提高學(xué)生的閱讀

能力,教師除了在課前要研讀課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn),準(zhǔn)確把握教材,精心準(zhǔn)備每個教

學(xué)步驟,合理安排教學(xué)內(nèi)容,找準(zhǔn)教材與學(xué)生實際之間的溝通點與共鳴點

外,必須有意識地教給學(xué)生常用的閱讀策略和技巧。

(1)學(xué)會閱讀方法。中考對閱讀速度的要求是:在4至5分鐘內(nèi)能讀

完200個詞左右的短文,每分鐘閱讀量為50個單詞左右,并包括完成理解

題。如果平時沒有養(yǎng)成在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)高質(zhì)量完成閱讀內(nèi)容的習(xí)慣,是很難

達到中考閱讀對學(xué)生的要求的。閱讀時要求學(xué)生克服回視、復(fù)視、唇讀、

喉讀和心讀等不良習(xí)慣,做到運用眼腦直映和擴大視距的方法,快速掌握

文章大意。首先用略讀(skimming)的方法,快速瀏覽全文,獲得總體印

象,了解文章大意和中心思想;再讀問題,按照問題的要求進行尋讀

(scanning),在有關(guān)部分找出與所需信息有關(guān)的詞語、句子。為正確回答

問題,需要進一步細讀(readingforfullunderstanding)來確定正確答

案,當(dāng)然學(xué)生可以根據(jù)不同的學(xué)習(xí)目的,有的放矢的選擇不同的閱讀方式,

調(diào)整自己的閱讀速度。

(3)注意一些與閱讀理解緊密相關(guān)的詞匯及其功能,例如代詞it,

they,連接代詞that,which,who,whom,whose等,在閱讀過程中一定

要弄清楚他們的作用與功能,才能更好的理解文章,做到省時省力。

(4)學(xué)會猜測生詞的能力。在平時的閱讀理解練習(xí)中,要求學(xué)生養(yǎng)成

良好的閱讀習(xí)慣,千萬不要一接觸生詞就查詞典,要把它當(dāng)作考試一樣,

想方設(shè)法來猜測詞義。要根據(jù)閱讀材料的相關(guān)內(nèi)容,或根據(jù)構(gòu)詞法、或根

據(jù)上下文語境、或根據(jù)標(biāo)點符號等來猜測詞義。

(5)準(zhǔn)確理解英語的句法特征。英漢畢竟是完全不同的兩種語言體系,

所以英美人思維習(xí)慣和和語言表達方式與我們中國人存在著一定的差異,

這就勢必牽涉到英語的句法結(jié)構(gòu)有其獨特的一面,如倒裝句、主謂一致、

虛擬語氣、情態(tài)動詞、各種從句、Therebe以及it的句型等,尤其是復(fù)

雜的復(fù)合句往往會使學(xué)生如同墜入云里霧里,因此,教師一定要認真結(jié)合

課內(nèi)外的閱讀材料教會學(xué)生如何把握句式脈絡(luò)的能力,變復(fù)雜為簡單。

3.積累文化背景,拓寬閱讀知識

美國語言學(xué)家Johnson曾將閱讀理解形象地稱為“在未知和已知之間

架起橋梁”。可見,擁有豐富的文化背景知識,在閱讀過程中起著催化劑

的作用。閱讀是作者與讀者之間的一種默契、溝通與相互作用,而想要促

成這種相互作用的產(chǎn)生,就必須對這種語言的文化背景有一定的了解。通

過語言,我們可以從中了解這個民族的歷史文化、禮儀習(xí)俗、宗教傳統(tǒng)等。

同時教師要有意識地不斷滲透跨文化意識,清晰地講解文章中所反映出的

文化背景知識,拓寬學(xué)生的知識面,加深該知識的印象。

4.培養(yǎng)閱讀興趣,激發(fā)閱讀欲望

偉大的教育家??怂估?jīng)這樣說過:“凡是能激發(fā)學(xué)生喜愛英語的

方法,都是教英語的最好方法?!痹陂喿x教學(xué)前教師要根據(jù)不同的閱讀材

料設(shè)置情景,來激發(fā)學(xué)生獲取信息的興趣和欲望。激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣的方法多

種多樣,可以針對不同材料靈活多變,如提問、講故事、設(shè)置懸念、介紹

背景、聯(lián)舊引新、利用多媒體等等。如通過播放錄像提供與材料內(nèi)容一致

的真實情景和語境,動態(tài)畫面和背景音樂和文章錄音交融合一,生動形象,

直觀性和趣味性都很強。如在教學(xué)九年級《Unit7Wherewouldyouliketo

visit?》這一單元內(nèi)容時,教師通過多媒體設(shè)計一些理想景點將教材內(nèi)容

整合在一起,先讓學(xué)生欣賞這些風(fēng)光迤通的畫面,然后談?wù)摳髯宰钕肴ビ?/p>
