3.DoesHeroismStillWork?Heroismusedtobeassociatedwithpeople'sidealisnowbelievedbythepublicasoutofdate.Forthemheroismisabeliefthatemphasizesindividuals'leadingroleinthedevelopmentofhumancareersbuttoday'sworldcharacterizedwithcomplicatedsocialdivisionoflaborrequiresthattheindividualcooperatewithotherpeopleandthustheirroleinthesociallifeisweakened.Soheroismcannolongermeetthedemandsofthetimes.Ironicallyheroismdoesexistinthereallifeformanypeoplestillcherishheroismasadreamoranidealwhichinreturnguidestheirthinkingandbehavior.ForexamplemanyNBAstarsarehailedassuperheroesandbecomepartoftheidealofthepublic.Therearealsomanygirlsdreamingofbecomingso-called"supergirls"soastobefocusedonbythepublicasoneswithoutstandingabilities.Nomatterwhetheritiscorrectornotthisphenomenondemonstratesacontradictionintheattitudeofthepublictowardsheroism.Formethiscontradictioncanbeinterpretedasacompromisebetweenthesetwoparties.Thatistosayindividualsintoday'sworldshouldlearntocooperatewithotherswhiletheycanalsocherishabitofheroismthatwillinspiretheirinitiativeandthusfulfilltheirpotential.Inthissenseheroismisstillnecessary.DoesHeroismStillWork?Heroism,usedtobeassociatedwithpeople'sideal,isnowbelievedbythepublicasoutofdate.Forthem,heroismisabeliefthatemphasizesindividuals'leadingroleinthedevelopmentofhumancareers,buttoday'sworld,characterizedwithcomplicatedsocialdivisionoflabor,requiresthattheindividualcooperatewithotherpeopleandthustheirroleinthesociallifeisweakened.Soheroismcannolongermeetthedemandsofthetimes.Ironically,heroismdoesexistinthereallife,formanypeoplestillcherishheroismasadreamoranideal,whichinreturnguidestheirthinkingandbehavior.Forexample,manyNBAstarsarehailedassuperheroesandbecomepartoftheidealofthepublic.Therearealsomanygirlsdreamingofbecomingso-called"supergirls"soastobefocusedonbythepublicasoneswithoutstandingabilities.Nomatterwhetheritiscorrectornot,thisphenomenondemonstratesacontradictionintheattitudeofthepublictowardsheroism.Forme,thiscontradictioncanbeinterpretedasacompromisebetweenthesetwoparties.Thatistosay,individualsintoday'sworldshouldlearntocooperatewithotherswhiletheycanalsocherishabitofheroismthatwillinspiretheirinitiativeandthusfulfilltheirpotential.Inthissense,heroismisstillnecessary.
4.ProblemsaboutReducingStudents'HeavyBurdenNowadaysstudents'heavyburdenmakesthemsonervousthatitdoesharmtotheirhealth.Itisnotdifficulttofindouttoomanyproblemsappearinginoursociety;somestudentsgiveupstudyingevenkillthemselves.Someotherstudentsgotokilltheirparentsortheirteachersbecausetheycan'tbearanymore.Thefactorsthatleadtostudents'heavyburdenarethefollowingthree:firstlyitisbecauseofeducationalsystem.Suchsystemforcesstudentstolearntoomuchcomplexbutuselessinformation.Secondlyschoolsonlyquestforhigherrateofenteringschools.Inordertogethigherrateschoolstrytheirbesttodomoretrainingsothatstudentscan'thavetheirsparetime.Thirdlyparentshavegoodwishes.Parentsdonotwanttheirchildrentofailinthefuturecompetition.Theyhavenootherwaybuttosendtheirchildrentoattendmoretraining.Itbecomesurgenttoreducestudents'heavyburdennow.Inmyownopinionitisimportanttochangetheeducationalsystemintohighqualityeducationsystemtoreducethecontentofthetrainingtochangethewayofevaluatingeducationqualitytochangeparentsandsociety'sattitudetowardstalents.Allthesearethebasicwaysthathelpreducestudents'heavyburden.ProblemsaboutReducingStudents'HeavyBurdenNowadays,students'heavyburdenmakesthemsonervousthatitdoesharmtotheirhealth.Itisnotdifficulttofindouttoomanyproblemsappearinginoursociety;somestudentsgiveupstudying,evenkillthemselves.Someotherstudentsgotokilltheirparentsortheirteachersbecausetheycan'tbearanymore.Thefactorsthatleadtostudents'heavyburdenarethefollowingthree:firstly,itisbecauseofeducationalsystem.Suchsystemforcesstudentstolearntoomuchcomplexbutuselessinformation.Secondly,schoolsonlyquestforhigherrateofenteringschools.Inordertogethigherrate,schoolstrytheirbesttodomoretrainingsothatstudentscan'thavetheirsparetime.Thirdly,parentshavegoodwishes.Parentsdonotwanttheirchildrentofailinthefuturecompetition.Theyhavenootherwaybuttosendtheirchildrentoattendmoretraining.Itbecomesurgenttoreducestudents'heavyburdennow.Inmyownopinion,itisimportanttochangetheeducationalsystemintohighqualityeducationsystem,toreducethecontentofthetraining,tochangethewayofevaluatingeducationquality,tochangeparentsandsociety'sattitudetowardstalents.Allthesearethebasicwaysthathelpreducestudents'heavyburden.
