Christmassongsfilltheheartwiththemagicoftheseason.EachyearatChristmas,wehearmanybeautifulsongs.Theirmelodiesaresoappealingthatwehumthemlongafterthesonghasended.ThesetraditionalcarolscapturethebeautyandwonderoftheChristmasstory.HarktheHeraldAngelsSing.CharlesWesley,whowroteover6,000songsduringhislifetime,pennedthewords

AndwheneverIhearitying,inashoporatmyhouse,itjustmakesmefeelgoodinside.Right.WheneveryouhearitandwheneveryousingChristmasmusic,itjustfillsyourheartwithgoodemotionsandgoodfeelings.Anditfillsyourheartwiththeideasandthemeaningandthemagicoftheseason.Well,ourarticlebeginsbysayingthateachyearatChristmas,wehearmanybeautifulsongs.Andweseethattheirmelodiesaresoappealingthatwehumthemlongafterthesonghasended.Andsowhenwe'retalkingaboutmelodies,we'rejusttalkingaboutthetune,orthemusicpartofthesong,notthewords,notthelyrics,butjustthesoundofthesong.

ThatiscertainlywhyChristianscelebrateChristmas,isbecauseofthebirthofJesusChrist.AnditsaysherethatthesecarolsarewhatcapturethebeautyofthisstoryofChrist.OK.Andthatword"carols"isonethatweneedtoknowifwe'retalkingaboutChristmasmusic.Acarolisahappy,joy-filledChristmassong.It'sasongthat'ssungaroundChristmastime.Weoftencallthosecarols,orChristmascarols.Andhereweseethatthesetraditionalcarolscapturethebeautyandwonder.Nowifthey'recapturingsomething,thenthatmeansthattheyaredescribingorrepresentingsomethinglikeanideainwords,inwordsthatareappropriate.
