telecommunicationbureau(station),includingtheoperationalearthing,protectiveearthing,shield

earthing,antistaticearthing,logicearthingofITdevices,protectiveearthingofmetalbuildingmembers

3.0.1Commonearthingsystemmustbeappliedtotheearthingsystemintelecommunication

bureau(station).

Thepowersupplymodeoftelecommunicationbureau(station)shallmeettherequirementsof

Mainequipmentandmaterialsusedinthelightningprotectionandearthingfortelecommunication

bureaus(stations)shallmeetthefollowingrequirements:

Themodelsandspecificationsofequipmentandmaterialsshallmeettheengineeringdesign

requirements.Incaseofusingsubstitutionalmaterials,theconsentofprojectowneranddesignershallbe

obtainedandthecorrespondingformalitiesshallbeprocessedpriortousingsuchmaterials.

Opencaseinspectionstoequipmentandmaterialsshallbeexecuted,theequipmentand

materialsshallnotbeusedbeforetheyareinspectedandqualified.

Outdoorsteelpartsandfasteningpiecesshallbehotgalvanizedorstainlesssteelproducts.

Thecontactsurfacesofboltsshallbethoroughlypolished,andantilooseaccessoriesshallbe

Foroverlappingroundsteelandflatsteel,theoverlappinglengthshallbenolessthan10times

Anticorrosivetreatmentshallbemadetoanycoatingdamageandweldingpointonmetal

anticorrosivepaintslikeasphaltorantirustpaints.Beforeapplyingtheanticorrosivepaints,dust,oil

stains,oxideskins,rustlayers,contaminantsandsheddingoldpaintfilmsonmetalsurfacesaswellas

weldingscalesatweldingpointsshallbecleanedup.Anticorrosivecoatingshallbeevenlyandfirmly

brushedover,andanymissingcoating,wrinkle,peeling,delamination,sagorbubbleshallnotbeallowed.

Iftheexothermicweldingisadoptedasconnectingandfixingmeansforlightningprotectionand

earthingsystem,thefusionjointshalltotallycoverthebondingpartoftheconductorbeingconnected,it

shallbeguaranteedthatthemetalatthebondingpartistotallymelted,hencetheconnectionisfirmand

reliable.

4Earth-terminationSystem

4.1EarthingElectrodeandEarthingGrid

Theposition,lengthandspacingofearthingelectrodeandtheinstallationmethodofearthing

4.1.1

gridshallmeettheengineeringdesignrequirements.

Theearthinggridsforbuildingsandtowersinatelecommunicationbureau(station)shallbe

connectedbyusinghorizontalearthingelectrodesatmultiplepoints.

Ifpowertransformerisinstalledintheequipmentroom,itshallbeearthedthroughthecommon

earthinggrid.Ifsuchtransformerisinstalledatoutdoorlocationoftheequipmentroomandtheedgeof

itsearthinggridislessthan30mawayfromtheedgeofthecommonearthinggrid,itsearthinggridshall

beweldedtoandconnectedtothecommonearthinggridbyusinghorizontalearthingelectrodes.

Earthingelectrodesshallbekeptawayfromsewageoutletsandstronglycorrosivesoil.

4.1.4

Pitsandditchesforearthingelectrodesshallbeexcavatedoutsidetheapronareaandkeptmore

Ifanearthingelectrodecrossesoverorisparalleltoburiedpowercablesortelecommunication

suchasthosewithpermanentfrozenlayer,theburieddepthshallmeetthedesignrequirements.Inthe

thinsoilareasorareaswithlargeproportionofgravelsandrocks,theburieddepthmaybedetermined

accordingtospecificconditions,buttheearthingelectrodeshouldnotbeexposed.

Horizontalearthingelectrodesshallbeburiedinditchesandlaidstraightlyandevenly;vertical
