timeforwork.Hecalledhimselfatwo-shiftmanbecausehe
worked16outofevery24hours.Sometimesheworkedso
intenselythathiswifehadtoremindhimtosleepandeat.
ThomasEdisondiedattheageof84onOctober18,1931,athis
estateinWestOrange,NewJersey.Heleftnumerousinventions
