一、對(duì)比考題何其多

對(duì)比類型考題在歷年托福獨(dú)立寫作考題中，會(huì)占到相當(dāng)大的比重，此類例題比比皆是。例如，從2022年1月份第一場(chǎng)托?？荚嚻鸬阶罱?月12日的9場(chǎng)考試10道考題〔3月7日的考試有兩道考題〕中就有5道考題就是對(duì)比型考題〔2022.1.25，2022.2.1，2022.3.7(1)，2022.3.7(2)，2022.3.28〕大家先來簡(jiǎn)約回顧幾個(gè)托福真題：

二、對(duì)比類考題的分類

按比較對(duì)象分類可以分為以下三類：

1〕AorB

這類對(duì)比在題目中會(huì)有特別明顯對(duì)兩個(gè)對(duì)比對(duì)象，在選擇觀點(diǎn)時(shí)，只選其一〔騎墻式寫法在托福寫作中不受歡迎〕。

例如：Classmatesandpartnercancommunicatewitheachotherfacetofacetofinishtheprojectbetterthanbysendinge-mail.(2022.1.25)

在選擇觀點(diǎn)時(shí)要么選擇facetofacecommunication要么選擇sende-mail.

2〕Aor(B)

這類考題比較含蓄，比較對(duì)象往往在考題中只涌現(xiàn)一個(gè)，而另一個(gè)那么可以由推斷得出。例如：Peoplewillspendlesstimeoncookingfoodintwentyyears.〔2022.3.7〕

這道考題表面上是在問“在將來20年人們是否會(huì)更少花時(shí)間在做飯上”，實(shí)在是在將將來20年與現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行對(duì)比，而它們之間的差異就是人們做飯時(shí)間差異的'緣由。

其它隱性對(duì)比考題還有：Theprofessionalathletessuchasthefootballplayerandbasket-ballplayerdeservedhighsalariestobepaid?〔2022.7.10〕

這道考題表面上是在問職業(yè)運(yùn)動(dòng)員的高薪酬是否合理，實(shí)質(zhì)上是將職業(yè)運(yùn)動(dòng)員的career與其它一般的career進(jìn)行對(duì)比，職業(yè)運(yùn)動(dòng)員之所以能有高薪酬，緣由在于他們的career有異于其它c(diǎn)areer的地方，如他們的職業(yè)生涯比較短，特別簡(jiǎn)單受傷，需要承受常常競(jìng)賽帶來的巨大壓力，需要參與嚴(yán)酷的訓(xùn)練等等。

3〕AorBorC

這類考題中比較對(duì)象有三者，選擇觀點(diǎn)時(shí)選其一。此類考題不常見，但從2022年開始幾乎每年都會(huì)考到幾次。

例如：Duringtimeofeconomycrisis,governmentshouldreducebudgetsin:(1)education,(2)healthcare;(3)supportforunemployed.(2022.2.2)

Whichwaydoyouthinkisthebestforastudenttomakenewfriends:(1)joiningasportsteam;(2)participateincommunityactivities;(3)traveling(2022.3.15)此類題目在對(duì)比時(shí)可以三者一一對(duì)比，如A與B對(duì)比，A與C對(duì)比，也可以轉(zhuǎn)換成兩者對(duì)比，如A與BC對(duì)比。

三、對(duì)比類型考題解題常犯錯(cuò)誤：

小伙伴們?cè)趯憣?duì)比類型題目時(shí)常常會(huì)犯這樣一個(gè)錯(cuò)誤：忽視對(duì)比。

例如：讓在A跟B之間做選擇，假設(shè)選擇了A,錯(cuò)誤的寫法是只寫A的好處，而決口不提B,也就是在寫作過程中忽視了對(duì)比，這樣的論證其實(shí)是不完整的。完整但論證應(yīng)當(dāng)是繼寫A的好處，同時(shí)要提B沒有這方面的好處或提B的壞處。下面給一篇對(duì)比類型文章的〔范文〕：Inordertocelebrateimportanteventssuchasgraduationoraspecialbirthday,someofthempreferalargeparty,whileotherspreferasmallpartythatonlyclosefriendsandrelativesareinvited.

Firstly,asmallpartyislesscostly.Asmallpartydoesnotrequirevastplaceorabundantsupplyoffoodanddrink,thushelpingtosavemoney.Forinstance,when

thcelebratingmy18birthday,Ichosetoholdasmallpartyathome,invitingmerely

myclosefriendsandrelatives.Insteadofpurchasingatremendousamountoffastfoodaswellassnacks,Ipreparedthefoodandthedrinkbymyselfwiththeassistanceofmymother,whichsignificantlyloweredmye*pense.Whilethepartywasnotheldonsomegrandlocation,everybodywashavingagoodtime,chattingatmycozyhomeandeatingmyhand-madedeserts.Bycontrast,hadIthrewabigparty,Iwouldhaveneededtorentamorespaciousplace,buymorefoodsandevenhaveneededtotemporarilyemploysomepeopletohelporganizetheparty,whichwouldbequitecostly.

Secondly,itismoreconvenienttoorganizeasmallparty.Hostingalargepartyentailsawealthoftimeandnumerouspeopleduringtheprocessofpreparationbeforethepartyandcleaningupaftertheparty.Inotherwords,toorganizealargeparty,oneneedtoinvestconsiderabletimeandevenneedstoresorttoothers’assistance,whichhasthepotentialtodisrupthis/herlife,thusleadingtoinconvenience.Ontheotherhand,becausethereareonlyafewindividualsinvited,asmallpartyrequiresfarlesstimeinsettinguptheplaceandpreparingforfoodandcleaninguptrashes.Considerablylesstime-consumingandenergyconsuming,asmallpartycausesfarlessinconvenience.
