7.Conjunctions:
Conjunctionsarewordsthatjoinwords,phrases,orclausestogether.Theyhelpmakesentencesmorecohesiveandlogical.Inthirdgrade,studentslearndifferentconjunctionstoconnectideas.Examplesinclude:
-And,but,or,so,because
8.Sentences:
Inthirdgrade,studentsalsolearnhowtoconstructcompletesentencesusingtheabove-mentionedwords.Simplesentencestypicallyconsistofasubjectandapredicate.Forexample:
