GrammarFocusGrammar—Relativeclauses(IV)定語從句有限制性和非限制性兩種。限制性定語從句非限制性定語從句限制性定語從句修飾名詞或代詞，表明所修飾的是哪個人或物。非限制性定語從句提供句子意義以外的額外信息。限制性定語從句是先行詞不可缺少的部分，去掉它主句意思往往不明確。非限制性定語從句是先行詞的附加說明，去掉了也不會影響主句的意思。限制性定語從句與主句之間，無需用逗號分開。非限制性定語從句與主句之間，通常用逗號分開；如非限定性定語從句位于句子中間，其前后都需要用逗號隔開。RelativeClauses限制性定語從句(defining)是先行詞在意義上不可缺少的定語，如果去掉，主句的意思就不完整或失去意義。這種從句和主句關系十分密切，寫時不用逗號分開。Iwastheonlypersonwhowasinvitedin
